This is Jihye, the pianist who comes from Korea. Currently graduated Jazz piano Bachelor's from the Prince Clause Conservatory in Groningen, and a Jazz&pop piano Master's from HKU Conservatory in Utrecht.
From pop to prepared piano, including song arranging, composing, music theory, inner hearing, and jazz improvisation, based on my various musical experiences, wherever your piano level is, we can play and learn together for your personal goal!
Mostly I am patient and I am also ready to share all of my knowledge from my life of musical learning. We will play together for sure in the lesson!
Lessons will be taught in English.
All the lessons focus on what you want to learn. Not only just playing certain songs but also long-term piano learning from beginner to expert. No matter whether you are a beginner or an expert, I am sure that I will deeply concentrate on your development.
Lessons can contain the following contents. Even if there is no explanation, you can ask me to what you want to learn.
- Basic Jazz theories (Chords, scales, analysis, etc.)
- Pop piano playing (simple introduction for keyboards such as EP, pad, organ)
- Jazz piano improvisation
- Song arrangement (Pop, minimal music, jazz, including lead sheet writing with Sibelius)
- Composing
- solfège
- Etc.
