My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. Besides the basic technique and theory knowledge, which Ι make sure to provide to each of my students , I individually prepare their study line, according to their taste and abilities. My goal is to help my students to find their own musicality and reveal their inner voice by giving them the most appropriate tools. Besides teaching I have two bands which I give lots of concerts with , at several venues and festivals.

The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Learn guitar or develop more advanced approaches through active learning and creativity. Students will be playing music from the very first lesson, and acquiring foundational skills and theoretical knowledge through learning your favourite songs. Lessons are tailored to suit the tastes, aspirations and ability of the students. As an experienced performing musician with a PhD in music, I focus on ‘doing’ rather than ‘knowing’, whether that involves learning songs, developing improvisational techniques or songwriting. But most importantly, I make sure we play music together and have fun in the process.

Singing lessons for all levels and age. For beginners, together we can discover the range of your voice and build the breathing and singing technique. At the same time we will work on music theory, ear training and how to read a score. For mature singers, we can delve into the singing technique and interpretation and add pieces in your repertoire. The lessons are provided both online and in person and can be held in English or Greek. I also speak some Italian and German. About me I have been playing the piano for 15 years. I have studied Classical Singing in the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (Greece) and I have followed a two-year Early Music Programme in Athens Conservatoire. At the same time I studied Music Theory (Harmony) at the Greek National Conservatoire from which I gained my Harmony degree. In addition, I have a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Here in The Netherlands, I finished my masters at the Utrechts Conservatorium and worked as a singer at the NKK NXT 2022-2023. I have participated in Operas (“Julius Cesar”- 2015 in Athens Concert Hall and “Alcina”-2019 in Odeon of Herodes Atticus) as a member of a vocal ensemble and I have also performed as a soloist in many concerts. Some of the stages I have performed are: Concertgebouw Amsterdam, TivoliVredenburg, Schouwburg Concertzaal Tilburg, Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

I teach private singing lessons to children, teenagers, and adults in English (for now) and beginner music theory for all ages. I have 20 years of experience as a performer and 10 years of teaching experience and have a passion for sharing music with others through music education. I believe that singing is a joyful expression of each unique voice and person. My teaching philosophy is to nurture students to have a fun and positive relationship with music no matter the level or age. My focus on a classical vocal technique gives the student a clear understanding of vocal technique, including breathing techniques, pitch control, musicality, and the knowledge to explore any genre of song. Basic music theory, rhythm, diction, sight-reading, and ear training are also taught to the student to support a well-rounded musical experience. I also teach students how to practice, giving them the tools to feel confident in their own learning process. Absolute beginners are welcome!

I am currently studying guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory, specializing in electric guitar. I teach basic guitar skills to beginners. Let's analyze our favorite songs and riffs :) I have experience teaching both children and adults. I speak Russian and English fluently, and can give basic instructions in Greek. My lessons are tailored to the students' interests and needs. I use modern methods of working with children, aimed at creating and encouraging healthy relationships with the instrument and music. With beginners, we will begin to develop a deep understanding of music, a sense of rhythm, motor skills, and focus on acquiring basic accompaniment and melodic playing skills. . For intermediate level players, we will develop an individual program focused on song performance, improvisation and an introduction to music theory. I will help you establish an effective training regimen. The program contains - Hand positioning, development of micromotor skills, finger dexterity. - Development of basic ear training and sense of rhythm. - Play with other people - Chords and basic accompaniment. - Creating music, experimenting with sound. - Introductory music theory and improvisation with scales.

I want to base my lessons on playing the guitar and related instruments in a way that feels mastered and personal. I therefore want to focus on expression, technique and the aurally malleable nature of the instrument, for example by discussing extended techniques and the use of effect pedals. I want to invite the students to learn to listen carefully to the impact of different playing techniques and audio effects. During the lessons I want to cover different kinds of music theory, especially in an "applied" way that is valuable to the student. I also want to deal with recording and producing my own work. Owning your own effects pedals, a guitar amplifier or recording equipment is not required for this course.

Hi! My name is Marie and I study Jazz/Pop singing at the Utrecht Conservatory. In my lessons, we will show your strengths even more and explore what you need to overcome your vocal obstacles. Every genre is welcome with me: Jazz and improvisation, Pop, R&B, Soul, Musical and Cabaret, you name it. Or do you want to learn to write music yourself? I can certainly help you with this as well. I also have the necessary theater experience with which I can teach you a lot about text interpretation and performance techniques. Singing to me is the best feeling ever. Your entire body is moving and your head is totally empty of worries. You lose who you are and transform into a new person. One time you are a prince or princess, the other a warrior fighting a duel. Maybe you stare at a beautiful river or fall in love like never before. All of this and even crazier situations are material for songs. Singing is so much more than just notes, it is about using your fantasy and telling a story. I love this feeling so much that I want to share how you can experience all of this while singing. ​ In general, singing is a combination of technique (pitches and rhythm), posture, and breathing. Next to that, we have diction, acting, body language, expression, and joy! You sing because you like it! ​ Singing is for all ages, all levels, and I adapt my lessons to your level. I am a singer graduating from the Utrechts Conservatorium. I have studied classical singing with a main focus in early music and voice embodiment. I also studied recorder, clarinet and musicology before. As a teacher and performer, I focus on a joyful, healthy and technically skilled way of singing. I focus not only on the sound production, but also on body posture, relaxation and organic movement. An happy and relaxed body creates a beautiful, natural and relaxed sound. You choose your own repertoire, and together we will work towards developing your voice at its fullest potential, your expressivity and text and style interpretation. I have experience teaching several music genres, from classical, jazz, pop, folk music and even extended vocal techniques like growls. Singing is a vulnerable, intimate, communal act, and sadly, our modern world has mystified it into the sphere of the "born-talent" ideal. I consider singing an universal right. We all have the capacity and the right to sing. If anybody has told you that you can't sing, they were wrong. Like any skill, you can learn it. And if you sing, you, your body, and your soul will be happier. One of my students once said: "You come for a singing lesson and you discover something new about who you are". I think that would summarize well the space I try to create in my lessons.

I have studied classical piano for over 10 years and have completed my Royal Conservatory of Music studies in Canada. I have over 3 years of experience teaching singing and piano to young students (as early as age 4) to beginner adults at the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation Programs. I am a passionate, calm and patient teacher who wants to share my love of music with my fellow students. I am also keen on helping students improve and gain further confidence to perform. I will be teaching online and when it is suitable I will be able to teach on location.
