Hector is a great and wonderful teacher. He is a very enthusiastic and explains things very well.
Hector is a great teacher! We have been having lessons via Skype and it works very well. I never feel like I'm not benefiting from his knowledge and experience even though we are not practicing in real life. For me as a beginner, Hector constantly finds new ways to explain the theory with lots of examples and different ways of practice. He motivates me and helps me find joy in playing the Cello. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants to learn and enjoy this instrument :)
Hector is a great teacher who explains and demonstrates very well.
It was very pleasant experience to play cello with Hector. I'm looking forward to learning more new skills with him
Héctor is a really good teacher...I left my first lesson feeling motivated to learn more and come back for more lessons. He gives really good explanations so even as a beginner you will feel confident to keep learning.

Alethea
Violin Lessons for children, adults, or anyone who wants to learn the violin!
I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

Panagiotis
Guitar Lessons(electric, acoustic,classical), Theory lessons
My name is Panagiotis and I am a guitar teacher/player. I have two bachelor degrees: Classical Guitar (Philippos Nakas Conservatory), Jazz&Pop Guitar (HKU Utrecht Conservatory). I have been teaching in music schools and giving individual lessons for the last 14 years. In 2017 I moved to Utrecht to continue my studies in jazz guitar at the Utrecht Conservatory and explore the Dutch music scene.I teach electric, acoustic, classical guitar and music theory. Besides the basic technique and theory knowledge, which Ι make sure to provide to each of my students , I individually prepare their study line, according to their taste and abilities. My goal is to help my students to find their own musicality and reveal their inner voice by giving them the most appropriate tools. Besides teaching I have two bands which I give lots of concerts with , at several venues and festivals.

Hernan
Berklee College of Music Graduate offers private lessons of Guitar, Harmony & Improvisation in Utrecht
The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

Heewon
Tailor-made piano lessons with patient and professional teacher
Hi, I’m Heewon from South Korea and I currently study music in HKU Conservatory. For about 14 years I have studied various aspects of music, I’ve studied piano, vocals and composition, and now I am studying piano in the jazz and pop course. Not only have I played lots of jazz and pop, I have played lots of classical, neo-soul and gospel, to me it’s important to be well versed in lots of genre’s. How amazing is it to play the music that lives in your head? Piano is by no means difficult, it make’s for a great hobby and is a wonderful stress reliever. My class is open for people of all skill levels and is held in English or Korean. Essential parts of my lessons are: -Tailor-made lessons to suit your skill level and needs. *For beginners we’ll go through basic piano skills, basic music theory and reading sheet music. *If you're an intermediate, you'll be given a class that suits your level, needs and wishes. (ex. How to improvise, how to accompaniment, how to arrange, etc.) -I will provide my own materials and documents. If you are interested or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me!

Singing/Voice Lessons & Beginner Music Theory Lessons
I teach private singing lessons to children, teenagers, and adults in English (for now) and beginner music theory for all ages. I have 20 years experience as a performer and 10 years of teaching experience and have a passion for sharing music with others through music education. I believe that singing is a joyful expression of each unique voice and person. My teaching philosophy is to nurture students to have a fun and positive relationship with music no matter the level or age. My focus on a classical vocal technique gives the student a clear understanding of vocal technique, including: breathing techniques, pitch control, musicality and the knowledge to explore any genre of song. Basic music theory, rhythm, diction, sight-reading and ear training are also taught to the student to support a well rounded musical experience. I also teaches students how to practice, giving them the tools to feel confident in their own learning process. Absolute beginners are welcome!

Gabriel
Gabriel- Enthusiastic cello teacher and active performer based in Utrecht, Oudegracht. All ages are welcome!
We learn through passion. The more we feel we can receive learning, the more it is transmitted through passion. I was lucky enough to have very good teachers throughout my education and now I want to pass on my knowledge to my students. In my teaching, I want to "read" the student sitting in the room with me and conclude which of the many possibilities might work specifically for him or her. I was trained as a classical musician and over the years I also found folk music very interesting because it connects you with the stories and traditions of a certain country or region. With this I want to say that different types of music are welcome in my lessons. If you like music, if you like the warm sound of the cello, try a lesson and see how it goes. You're welcome.

Enrico
Cello lesson for all ages and levels (also by Skype)
Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Valeryia

Piano/Music Theory/Synth lessons (all styles and levels)
I am a Greek pianist and accordionist, and I give lessons of piano and music theory to kids and adults. I obtained my Classical Piano and Classical Harmony Diploma in Thessaloniki, Greece, and I am currently in the Master's Program (Piano Performance, second subject Music Production) in the HKU Conservatorium, specializing in Contemporary Music and researching about the combination of Piano with Live Electronics. During my studies, I have joined many concerts (solo, chamber music and bands), I have made recordings, played with electronics, accompanied puppet theatre and composed music in DAWs like Ableton. I have been working as a classical music teacher and accompanist in music schools for the last 6 years. I can also teach basic skills of sound synthesis and electronics. I would be happy to share my knowledge and enjoy the music together!

CELLO LESSONS UTRECHT - professional cello teacher
Learn to enjoy music together while playing cello with me! - I help to prepare for music/cello exams towards Music Academies as well as I assist students with practicing. - I work with beginners, helping them with the basics of cello techinque together with basic music theory - One of my methods while teaching is to play together with a student as much as possible to teach them the art of chamber music but also good communication skills while practicing together. - I combine different methods depending on the student's needs (and technical level) - as a professional cellist with an educational studies background I implement different psychological ideas including observational learning, ideas of Piaget and Vygotsky, and others - I use the background in Feldenkrais technique lessons in my own teaching

Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others! As I am only just starting with these individual lessons for a limited time they are available. From the technique and theory of singing to performative qualities and coaching, I can help! Together we can work to get your singing to the next level! So feel free to send me a message and I hope to hear from you soon! Wil je nu ook wel eens buiten de douche wil zingen? Zoek je een nieuwe hobby in deze tijden. Wil je verder in het vak? Mijn eigen focus ligt op musical, klassiek en kleinkunst repertoire, maar ik kan ook op andere genres coachen.
