Hello! This is Laura :) I have studied both singing and piano for more than 10 years, obtaining the 8th degree in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exam. I am currently teaching in two different music schools in Barcelona and I teach both online and face-to-face. Piano: I have been trained in classical piano and have been teaching private lessons since 2018. Singing: I have been trained in several techniques (EVTS, Complete Vocal Technique, classical singing...) and I have developed my own teaching method, adapted to the needs of my students rather than following a book. Hello, My name is Louana, I am 28 years old and am currently a piano teacher for students ranging from 4 to 65 years old. Indeed, I started very young music with first 2 years of rhythm then 5 years of Solfege Jacques-Dalcroze and finally 12 years of piano including 10 at the Conservatory of Music in Geneva. (each year of study being validated by exams & diplomas) Today I continue to play for fun and give some of my time to teach a few students once a week. Class sessions are generally 45 minutes to 1 hour as proposed by the Conservatory. I teach with my old scores which allows a gradual evolution step by step. During our lessons, I will help you discover the beautiful and magical side of this instrument. BEGINNERS If you are a beginner, I will teach you some basic violin and music skills. In the first lessons, we will do simple exercises to teach you how to hold the violin and the bow in the correct and relaxed way. In the lessons, you will also learn some basic theory, reading music, and basic rhythms. From the beginning, you will be playing some nice, simple tunes and violin duets. I can teach viola classes at all levels, and violin to students up to the sixth of Professional Grade. I can also teach music theory at all levels and support the study of other subjects taught at the conservatory, such as music history, analysis, orchestra, chamber music, etc. I believe that the teacher must be able to adapt a lot to the student, and especially in music I find it very important to understand the sensitivity and difficulties of each student.
