Hi, I am Cris. I am a professional teacher currently residing in Doha, Qatar. I have been a teacher for a decade now and my experiences handling different students are the thing that makes me confident in teaching you. I can share my expertise of the English language though I am not a native speaker of English. But, I guess that is what makes me helpful to those who are struggling with the language. Learning a language that is not innate to us may not be easy, but with practice and a lot of patience, learning is possible.

This class is a communicative English class which is going to assist you in developing your speech and precision. Here we will explore, vocabulary with nuances in meanings, synonyms, idioms, proverbs, some phrasal verbs and prepositional phrases and all-around social English. The possibilities are endless for focusing on Public Speaking, Intonation and Voice Projection as well. For better results and further practice, your learning skills shall be stimulated by audio recordings, short readings and/or videos. If there are any specific topics you have in mind and wish to discuss, we can additionally explore and incorporate them into your lessons. If you already have sufficient grammar skills and need to go on to communication and to start speaking English, then this class is for you!

I am an academic professor. Arabic is my mother tongue. I speak Arabic, French, Spanish, a little English and a little Turkish. I give lessons in Arabic: language and communication with an effective pedagogy, written and oral, so that everyone can speak fluently while avoiding grammatical gaps. I explain all my lessons to foreigners by webcam, because I am in Morocco, in Rabat. I present my courses in French, Arabic or Spanish, depending on your choice. I specialise in tutoring science, maths and English (GCSE and ESL) all subjects are taught up to GCSE level or lower depending on child's age. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports making sure the parents/carers are involved in the learning of the child and to track their progress too.

I have facilitated workshops and given classes throughout my career all over the world. English pronunciation is essential these days because English is spoken everywhere and all the time. I followed specialized training such as the verb tonal method, Feldenkrais or mental coaching. We are therefore going to work in a slightly different way by combining articulatory techniques, movement, rhythm, intonation, warming up of the jaw and tongue, stretching of the neck, neck and shoulders to arrive to very fast results.
