I have a Bachelors in Marine Biology with conservation and biodiversity, which has been put to use in the Middle East through school trips for international children. I have recently returned to Geneva, where I am a freelance SCUBA Instructor, which I regularly combine with biology lessons.
As a native English speaker, I have previously taught English language to children. I am level B1 at French and would also teach English in exchange to advance my personal French.

My goal is to advance students without overloading their learning by taking up these own school exercises and if necessary additional exercises.

As I explained in the presentation of my profile, I had teachers (of sciences) who discouraged me by explaining things in a complex and incomprehensible way but thanks to a repeater, which simplified me the approach to biology / neuroscience, I discovered this passion for science, neuroscience and biology. It is for this reason that I would like to give other students the opportunity to understand the subject in a simple way without changing the technical terms.
I adapt to the curriculum of my students and set a goal to achieve with him / her, so that we work TOGETHER on this goal.

Former student of Biology at the Faculty of Sciences (University of Geneva), I am currently in Political Science, I offer personalized pedagogy, help in the form of rehearsal lessons for understanding lessons and preparing for exams.
- My goal is to show the potential of the student in order to make him progress effectively without overloading him. I carry out targeted and individual follow-up. The friendly and trusting relationship with the student is essential for me.
- I do extensive research to find what may be missing and help (theory, exercises, videos).
- I teach via Skype / Zoom (or other) and also in a chosen place (at the student's home, in a library, etc.).
- My classes last between 1 hour and 2 hours in general, they are aimed at all ages up to the level of gymnasium maturity.

I worked in academia in three different European countries: Switzerland, Spain and The Netherlands.
I was teaching assistant for four years at the Maastricht Science Programme, at the subjects "Introduction to Natural Sciences: Mathematics" and "Biomaterials".
I have lots of experience in explaining complex subjects (e.g. Maths) to students coming from different backgrounds, including Humanities.
