Violin and viola lessons online with hand and heart

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
"Music is learned through music." (Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy)

Highly qualified violin (optionally viola) lessons. Well-founded technical structure based on natural motion sequences. Pieces of music of all styles. Music theory and sheet music learning with ease.
Playful lessons for children with colors, pictures and child-friendly methodology that is fun.
Differentiated musical design and technical refinement for adults.

I started teaching my first violin student when I was 16 years old. After graduating from high school, parallel to my music studies at the time, I began to teach violin at a youth music school in the Rhineland.
After completing my studies, I also taught at the youth music school in Aachen in addition to my private students. Since 2008 I have taught violin, viola, orchestral conducting and chamber music at the State Youth Music School in Hamburg and at the State Conservatory in Schwerin for many years. A large and loyal swarm of private students accompanied me for over 30 years. Taking care of this with hand and heart was and is a great pleasure for me.

About Me

My name is Birgit. I studied classical violin and chamber music at the Highschool for Music and Dance in Cologne and Royal Academy for Music, Maastricht (NL). My formative teachers were Prof. Hariolf Schlichtig (former viola player in the Cherubini Quartet), Prof. Charles-André Linale (former Primarius in the Orpheus Quartet) and Prof. Szreder (well known for his concerts with contemporary music).
I completed my three successive studies with a diploma for instrumental pedagogy, an artistic maturity exam and a chamber music exam with top marks. Since then I have been following a stream of further development in music and also personally, because for me standstill is unthinkable and lifelong learning is very fulfilling.
I can be heard regularly in concerts with various duo partners and ensembles. I have been doing classical chamber music for many years, plus gypsy music, klezmer and free improvisation.
I am very keen to experiment and I love "crossover" of all kinds with classic violin, improvisation and also electric violin.
I have now released 5 CDs with my own pieces, some composed - some improvised.

I taught my first violin student when I was 16 years old. After graduating from high school, I began teaching violin at a youth music school, parallel to my music studies at this time.
After completing my studies, I taught in addition to my private students at the youth music school in Aachen. I love to pass on the ability to play the queen of instruments, the violin, including her big sister, the viola.

Luciano
Spanish / Spanisch / Español. High quality classes. Experienced teacher from Argentina.
High quality Spanish classes. Experienced teacher. My name is Luciano and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. I am currently living in Berlin where I am developing a personal project and working as a teacher online and in face-to-face classes. Normally I am interested in generating a creative bond with my students and that is why I work with many of them for relatively long periods of time. In the classes I am interested in having a solid grammar structure but the emphasis is on conversation. In this way I feel that a rich and interesting interaction is generated where, honestly, I myself learn from my students‘ experiences and points of view. I am convinced, as a language learner myself, that learning a language is not simply a tool for communication. I feel that to learn another language is to open oneself to another code or way of thinking and perceiving the world. For example, Romance languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) think and feel the world in a different way than Germanic languages (English, German, etc.) I am fascinated by these differences and similarities. Traveling in Japan, I could only admire the beauty of how we represent the world through our language. I feel that in a world that is becoming increasingly depersonalized and where artificial intelligence and algorithms seem to creep into every corner of our lives, maintaining human, imperfect and warm contacts is a form of resistance. In that sense, both in my project with sacred languages such as philosophy and astrology and in language classes, I try to maintain the human dimension and respect the beauty and multidimensionality of communication. Apart from my background in philosophy at university, I am interested in art, politics, culture as an expression of an epoch, psychoanalysis, comparative religions, etc. In this context, with many of my more advanced students we work with texts and films where our interests intersect. For the more beginning classes the emphasis is also on conversation, but with a grammatical framework and progression. That is why I am interested in understanding the students‘ objectives. Whether learning for pleasure or for a trip, to take an international exam or for cultural reasons, I believe that framing the classes in a structure allows the creative to emerge. If you are interested in the approach and are curious, feel free to contact me for a no charge introduction where we can discuss a lesson plan after assessing your level. Thank you for your attention. If you know anyone who might be interested in this approach please share it.

(Online) Mathematics Tutoring for High School Students
High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working. Topics include, but are not limited to: -Linear Algebra -Calculus -Trigonometry -Geometry -Set Theory -Analysis If you have another topic in mind that you really need help with, just send me a message! Whether you need someone that explains the concepts to you or just someone to practice exercises with - I am sure I can help you. You have an exam soon and want to review the main topics? No problem! You have a very specific problem, question or topic that you need help with? I'm here to answer any questions! You need help with preparing for your A-levels/High School diploma? Don't fret, I will guide and prepare you! The most important part of my lessons is, however, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment - I have no issue with explaining the same concept over and over again until I am convinced that you have understood it. It is important to me that you feel comfortable in asking any questions - I want to show you, that Math is more than a subject and that it can be fun!

Spanish online lessons with native spanish teacher for adults and teenagers
I am a native Spanish speaker and a general language enthusiast. In addition to Spanish, I speak German and English. I am 100% confident that I will successfully teach you Spanish (while having fun and relaxing)! I've been teaching spanish for 15 years. I am 41 years old, graduated with honors from the University of Salamanca. My main goal in teaching is to make students feel relaxed and comfortable while studying. Do you already know Spanish? No problem! Rather than building the basics, we can design courses to suit your personal needs and preferences. We can write essays together, you can give presentations on topics that interest you or that I present to you, we can discuss current events, engage in debates, you can write summaries of newspaper articles, or we can delve into advanced grammar. Whatever you enjoy and need, we can do it together. All my courses combine speaking, listening and grammar practice in interaction with me. Unless you are a very advanced student, we work with learning materials created by some of the best language learning publishers in Germany. These materials serve as a common thread for our course, introducing new words, grammar and exercises at a good pace and in an interesting way, keeping you engaged and motivated. I also show you German food, music and places. In addition, I will introduce you to the best technological tools (homepages and applications) to boost your language learning and take it to the next level. Another important factor for me is the personal connection. We usually start our lessons with how the weekend or previous weekdays were like. Contact me now to arrange a first lesson in which we can get to know each other so that I can learn more about you, your needs and desires and thus design the optimal course for you.

I have a true passion for English, as I see it as a lively, vibrant, and energetic language. It’s heard everywhere: in songs, films, games, and even while traveling. English allows communication with the entire world, the discovery of other cultures, and opens up opportunities both academically and professionally. It’s a language I love teaching, especially to children, as they absorb it easily while having fun. My goal is to pass on this enthusiasm and help them build confidence. The objective is to introduce the child to English in a fun, interactive, and progressive way, taking into account their school curriculum, age, and level.
