About Me

Passionate about foreign languages and literatures, compulsive traveler, patient and dedicated teacher, in love with Italian, the language that tells me the best.

My experiences in teaching, primary and secondary, and in social promotion, allowed me to better know the different ways of learning of young people and adults and the importance of teaching a foreign language through interactive courses.

I am rigorous in my work, patient and motivated. After two years in Montreal, I have been back in Brussels for a year to teach Italian (my mother tongue) and English (which I perfected during my long stays in Ireland and Canada).

Diploma in Intercultural Linguistic Mediation (French, English, Italian) at the Graduate School for Interpreters and Translators from the University of Bologna.
Master's degree in Literary Translation at ISTI (Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters) in Brussels.

I am a teacher and tutor of Italian Language for Foreigners with a Master's degree in teaching Italian as a language for foreigners from the Ca' Foscari University of Venezia and the DITALS certification (Certificate of aptitude in didactics of Italian to foreigners) of the University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy).
The course and my method of teaching the language are based on a communicative approach: the student will learn the language gradually by using it and communicating in a real language and not abstract. I can teach to 1-4 students a time. I think the private class is worthless with more than 4 students. I usually prepare students for the exam one month in advance ( no more than 3 times per week) and after theoretical explanation, i focus on practical exercise. However, the details must be discussed with the student.
