French (all levels): from beginners to advanced students

French class for all levels and all ages. I have been teaching/tutoring for the last 5 years for all ages and levels in French and conversational Spanish and English. Lessons can conducted in your home or another agreed upon location. I like to use a variety of sources and tailor classes to your needs.

Whether it is practicing the skills for work, study or simply because you enjoy learning French, preparing for a Delf exam, learning the French language from the start or activating knowledge, we create a curriculum together. The lessons are active and only theoretical where necessary to acquire basic knowledge. I have many years of experience in teaching at secondary schools and individual and group training at companies (in-company). The lessons are based on the levels of the CEFR (European Reference Framework). The lessons can also be followed online, via Skype or Zoom!

It has been an incredible experience! I had the opportunity of visiting beautiful places, discovering so many different cultures and developed myself from a personal and professional point of view.
Since two years, I have been living in Haarlem - a wonderful city close to Amsterdam - and to the coast 🌊 - in the Netherlands. I love teaching and helping people to find out more about Italian culture, history, and arts. I would love to use all the modern techniques of teaching that I learned and practiced them with you. I'm a native English speaker from the USA, living in Rotterdam. In my job as an engineer, I regularly help colleagues with their written and spoken English. I'm available to help you practice English on a regular basis on weeknights. I specialize in working with students in professional or technical fields who are interested in refining their English writing and speaking skills. I also speak fluent Dutch, as well as some Spanish and French, so I'm familiar with common English mistakes and understand what's causing them. Examples of lessons: - Reviewing written documents together, and identifying recurring errors (work emails, proposals, reports, etc.). - General conversation practice, and presentation practice. I will listen, take notes, and provide feedback on pronunciation and grammar, while we discuss various topics. - Practice speaking exercises in preparation for IELTS exams. - Assistance with job applications (reviewing English CVs and cover letters). I do not teach beginners courses in English, as I have a full-time job and this would require longer/more intensive lessons. I specialize in teaching Greek to beginners and intermediate students, providing them the foundation to master this difficult language. I cover topics such as word order, grammar, spoken vs. written Greek, conversational and every day Greek, as well as spelling, writing, and pronunciation. Each class can be tailored to the students individual needs. This class is for anybody who just wants to improve speaking/writing, as well as for those just starting out. Lessons can be given online, or in person. Greek is a language that is increasingly spoken, and is useful in many aspects of life, including but not limited to: biology, geometry, medical terminology, etc. With Greece's economy growing, it is an ideal destination to move either as an expat, digital nomad, or as a startup company. I was born in Japan and moved to Italy from a young age, but I always practiced Japanese at home and regularly went to Japan for summer study programs. During my undergraduate studies in France, I started teaching part-time Japanese and Italian. Last year, I was studying at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, where I had the chance to work as a teacher again, together with some translation and interpreting services. I am very passionate about helping people with language learning processes and sharing with my students my knowledge of my two cultures! That's why I believe that language classes should follow the student's personality, interests, and objectives :) I am also prepared to assist for official language tests. French is my mother tongue and I have always been fond of learning new languages. I can teach you how to easily and quickly learn french. I master grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing methodologies. As a student myself, I know how hard it may seem to learn a new language. That's why I find interesting to gradually implement new items to the lessons. We can start with listening and studying french videos in order to understand the pronunciation and have a general idea on how to read and enrich your vocabulary. We'll go through the grammar, vocab, and pronunciation. If you're intermediate, we'll also do some lessons about reading comprehensions. We'll put both the grammar and vocab in practice.
