Trained across several European countries, I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in performance and have received classes through masterclasses and festivals with renowned international artists from the Berliner Philharmoniker, Nobuko Imai, Morten Carlsen among others. As an orchestral musician, I’ve performed with various national orchestras in Europe, including ensembles based in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain, and others. I currently perform actively as both a chamber and orchestral musician. Personalized lessons for all levels – from beginners to advanced. I offer violin, viola, and music theory lessons for all levels. I can adapt to any schedule and need. I have 8 years of experience as a teacher in private classes and music schools. During all these years as a teacher, I have been able to experiment and learn from my students to develop a pedagogical method that is adapted to the needs of each person. My main objective is for the student to learn the technique of the instrument through musicality so that he can enjoy and create while learning. I obtained the Higher Degree in Music in 2015 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Orchestral Specialization from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2017. Recently, I have finished my Master in Musical Interpretation at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen (Belgium) with Cum Laude. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

Hi there, I'm a professional viola and violin teacher, teaching in person and online, in English, German or Russian. As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of all ages and levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ in London and have taught on the Senior and Primary Arpeggione Viola Courses. As a member of the European String Teachers’ Association, I participated in their conferences across Europe, including at the European Parliament in 2018. I also prepare students for music exams, auditions and competitions at all levels, and work with them on music theory, aural and sight reading skills, and can accompany them the piano. Alongside my teaching I perform internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, including at Kings Place London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Philharmonie Berlin. I am a Hattori Foundation and Villa Musica artist, winner of the Małopolska competition, the Barbirolli Prize at the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Len Lickorish Memorial Prize at the Royal Overseas League International Strings Competition. I'm an avid chamber musician, and am a founding member of Ensemble Textura, a string ensemble based in Berlin, performing renowned works alongside experimental arrangements and lesser known masterpieces. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process.
