I offer double bass lessons for all ages and levels. A teaching adapted to each one, to advance on its own voice, laying down and / or reinforcing solid technical and musical bases. I have several years of experience in private education as well as in conservatory. Courses in English or French. I am very available!

I am a professional contrabassist graduated with distinction from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) and holding a bachelor degree from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in National University of Singapore under full scholarship. I have had a lot of experience teaching privately in Switzerland, Singapore, and South Korea. I can help my students find good musical content and adapt the lessons to each student's needs and wishes. Plus, you can practice your English and Korean at the same time!

For me, the most important is to help my students reach their goals, supporting them in any kind of situation. I’m happy to start with a beginner on their musical journey, prepare an advanced player for a music university audition or entrance exam, or a casual player who just wants to learn music and have fun. I always try to personalize my lessons and focus on the aims of my students. My main field is Jazz however I'm able to teach other genres like pop, latin, classical and funk. In my teaching method the music theory, scales, rhythm, harmony, improvisation, a defined technique on the instrument and several practising methods are all very important in order to improve. I’m able to teach Double Bass, Bass Guitar and Music Theory.

I am a double bass player based in the city of Leuven. I recently obtained my third master in music in double bass at the LUCA School of Arts – Campus Lemmens. I am currently working as a double bass tutti in the Brussels Philharmonic and i am the bass player of the ensembleDRE. As a double bass player i have played in different amateurs and young Orchestras like NJO, the junge-deutsch franzosische philarmonie and Futurorchestra, and with professional Orchestras like Casco Phil and Ataneres Ensemble. As a teacher i have taught pop music and electric bass in Italy. Through my experiences , concerning different kinds of music, i would like to approach the double bass and/or electric bass to people of any age. Hello, thanks for coming :) I have been a professional musician for over 20 years (double bass, electric bass, piano, arranger, composer and music teacher), of Serbian origin and having also lived in Austria, Spain and France. I spend most of the time in Barcelona from where I give private lessons online. As usual, they are tailor-made, prepared and designed according to your level and objectives. You can also communicate in Spanish, English, Catalan or Serbian-Croatian if you prefer. I studied music, bass and double bass in Serbia ("Stankovic", Belgrade), Austria ("Universitat für Musik und darstellende Kunst", Graz) and Spain ("L'Aula de Música moderna i jazz", department from Berklee School of Music, Barcelona) with Wayne Darling, Horacio Fumero and David Mengual. I have a long experience of teaching music at different ages, from 10 to 56 years old.
