Viola da gamba lessons by a former student of Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris (CNSMDP)
From 60 € /h
Former viola da gamba student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) and in Literary classe préparatoire with a music option at the Lycée Fénelon in Paris,
I offer viola da gamba lessons.
I have been teaching viola at the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison (CRR) since 2019 and have been giving private lessons for many years.
I teach both children and adults. My teaching method is particularly focused on working on the body, how to mobilize it in the most efficient and healthy way possible when playing, using some tools that I learned during my work in Alexandre Technique
I teach at my place in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

About Me
Louise began playing the viola da gamba at the conservatory in Grenoble, her hometown. She then studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Philippe Pierlot, then at the CNSM in Paris in the class of Christophe Coin, where she obtained her Master's degree in 2017.
Louise had the opportunity to improve her technique with violists such as Jordi Savall, Atsushi Sakaï, Guido Balestracci, Wieland Kuijken, Marianne Muller, and Vittorio Ghielmi.
Louise is a founding member of the chamber music ensemble Le Consort (First Prize, Audience Prize at the 2017 Val de Loire International Early Music Competition chaired by William Christie). She has recorded several albums with Le Consort for the Alpha label.
Classics, unanimously acclaimed by critics (CHOC Classica, DIAPASON d'Or of the year, Choice
from France Musique, Télérama, Libération, Figaro...).
She also plays with the ensemble directed by soprano Mathilde Etienne and tenor Emiliano
Gonzalez-Toro, I Gemelli, with whom she recorded several albums, including "Soleil noir" released
under the Naïve label (Diapason d'Or, Diamant d'Opéra magazine, Figaro, Sunday Times...) or even "The Return of Ulysses to his Homeland", published under the label of the ensemble, Gemelli Factory
(Diapason d'Or, Diamond of Opera Magazine, Choc Classica, Choice of France Musique,
Telerama...).
Louise teaches viola da gamba and baroque style practice at the Conservatoire in
Regional influence of Rueil-Malmaison since 2019.
In 2020, she discovered the world of theater and trained within the Cours
Cochet-Delavène, as well as at the School of Claude Mathieu.
In 2023, as a singer and violist, she recorded covers of pop songs from the 1960s and 1970s, which she arranged for a
training including the viola da gamba.
