Bonjour! My name is Emma, I'm 22 and both French & English (I have both passports!). While I'm originally from Toulouse, I moved to Hamburg aged 9 and stayed there until the end of high school. I speak French and English fluently along with German (C1-C2) and Spanish (B1-B2). I graduated from the University of Southampton last year with a First-Class Honours BA in Film and English literature and I'm about to start my masters in Film Production at la Sorbonne Nouvelle.

I have been working as an English and French tutor since 2016, both at home and online (Zoom, Skype). I have experience with students aged 6-18. I structure my lessons according to my their needs, homework and the topics they are working on at school. I like to incorporate my passion for film and literature during my lessons by asking my students to watch specific films or read short stories and/or books we can then discuss and sometimes work on. With younger students, I like to read them stories and play games (Memory, Guess Who? etc.) that will allow them to use the content we covered beforehand. When online teaching, I also use British Council learning games to make the tutoring session more interactive and interesting.

Always enjoying languages, I grew up in an international culture and school. I indeed lived 6 years in Italy during my childhood and therefore speak fluent Italian. This made it easier for me to learn English (obtaining Cambridge KET level in 6th grade) and German, which I present all three at the baccalaureate. I also learned Spanish on a personal basis by passion for languages!
Having therefore learned four foreign languages myself, I am passionate about this objective and will take great pleasure in helping you achieve it.

This course is therefore open to everyone, for discovery as well as for further study (up to level C2 in Italian, C1 in English and B2 in German). You can learn to understand, speak, read or write this language and progress at your own pace.

Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context.
For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot.

For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand).

For all those who wish to practice and develop their English!
I was lucky enough to live in a foreign country for almost two years, where I was able to practice and improve my English.
