I am a German-American business informatics student with a Studienkolleg degree, offering math tutoring in Berlin for students from grade 1 up to upper secondary level – online or in person, in German, English, or Business English.

In Math, I mindfully support students not just in memorizing formulas, but in truly understanding how calculations work. This way, they can save time in exams, stay calm, achieve better grades, and develop more confidence in dealing with mathematics.

In Business English, I support learners not just in memorizing vocabulary and phrases, but in genuinely understanding how to communicate clearly and appropriately in professional contexts. This helps them write better emails and reports, feel more confident in meetings and presentations, and present themselves more professionally in job applications, interviews, and at work.

High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material.

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home.
