I specialize in teaching English for IELTS preparations (writing and speaking skills) and English grammar and writing skills for speakers of other languages (ESOL). I have over 20 years of English language teaching and examining experience. I hold CELTA (Certificate for English Language Teaching for Adults)- University Cambridge. In addition, I am currently a certified examiner for the IELTS examination board and University of Cambridge oral exams.
My goal is to enable students to achieve their required language skills within the shortest period of time. My teaching methods are interactive, engaging and motivating. Periodic assessments will be made via homework/tutorials with feedback.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:
