Since 2018 I've been teaching and tutoring English to students across the world. I've taught in the private sector, in schools, and now privately online. The goal of this class is to prepare students towards Maths GCSE, IGCSE and A-Level examinations. Classes are also available for American university applicants looking to prepare for the Maths SAT exams. Lessons consist of a starter based on a previous topic or background knowledge needed for the new topic. Then the concept is taught, using visual aids and real world examples so that students understand how different concepts are related and how they can be applied to different situations. Before the end of each class students are provided with an opportunity to practice what they have learned. If students are preparing for exams, the main focus of the lesson would be to teach problem solving skills adequate for each type of question, review key concepts and provide exam style questions for students to practice.
