I specialise in teaching Biology and General Sciences at all levels. I am currently an undergraduate Biology BSc student at Imperial College London, in my final year of study.

I have many previous experiences of teaching Biology, Chemistry and rudimentary Physics to students of all ages, and am experienced in practical applications of science through multiple lab placements in varying settings. I have worked in pharmaceutical labs as well as in research at Imperial College.

Après deux années de classes préparatoires scientifiques au lycée Janson de Sailly, j'ai intégré CentraleSupélec. Voulant compléter ma formation par une ouverture sur le monde de l'économie au sens large et plus précisément m'intéresser à la gestion de l'entreprise, j'ai intégré l'ESCP Europe. Cette formation pluridisciplinaire permet d'établir des parallèles entre les différentes matières et de rendre concrets voire attrayants des problèmes mathématiques abstraits, en expliquant leur utilité au quotidien. Ainsi, comprenant le but des manipulations opérées et leur intérêt, on devient vite curieux et l'apprentissage est plus simple.

As the level of the courses increases over the years, taking advantage of a young student who has experience as a versatile private teacher is often a major asset to perform and then fly to great studies!

What is my experience in private lessons?
I have been giving private lessons for 5 years now.
Throughout the last 3 years 2017-2020, I followed 2 students of the French Lycée Charles de Gaulle: a student from 5th to 3rd and a student from 2nd to 12th, at a rate of 2 and 3 hours per week respectively. I have pushed them both towards excellence, my students having averaged 20.5 and 18.7 on their patent and baccalaureate respectively. My final year student joined LSE for an excellent Bachelor in General Economics; and I had the opportunity to prepare him for this new stage by preparing him on certain prerequisite subjects of the Bachelor that the French program does not cover.
I thus have a complete knowledge of the scientific programs from the 5th to the terminale, I am aware of the reform of the year 2020/2021, I was recently able to prepare students for the patent and the bac, and I know the systems leading to English universities as well as French preparatory classes.
I also gave private lessons for 2 years in France, with high school students. I was also hired by Centrale Lyon for 1 year to tutor in physics for 1st year students.
With the health crisis, between March and September 2020, I was also able to learn to take regular lessons by Skype while maintaining effective monitoring.

Who am I?
I am in September 2020/2021 in the 2nd year of my PhD at Imperial College London, working in biomechanics on a subject bringing together mathematics, chemistry, mechanical physics, computer science and biology.
Initially, I come from a small provincial high school where I had my bac S in 2013 with the congratulations of the jury. I subsequently made preparations for Henri IV and Louis-Le-Grand in Paris.
I have a double degree since 2019: Centrale Lyon in general engineering and Imperial College London for a master's degree in mechanics - civil engineering - biomechanics, for which I received the award of excellence.
My current PhD takes me until 2023 on the South Kensington campus.

And who am I as a teacher?
- I am now 24 years old and my memories of my 13-17 years are still fresh: I understand most of the feelings of my students, feelings that I have known myself: stress, laziness, discouragement after a bad note, being overloaded with work and subjects ... I have always been on great terms with my students, which gives relaxed, funny and effective lessons, with confident students.
- I'm honest and I like a job well done! I teach to help and get results, and I don't let go until it's done.
- I am kind and very attentive: I keep abreast of the progress and results of my students, I encourage them and answer their questions by messages outside of class if they need it.

What are my strengths?
- I come out of a fresh experience with two students of different ages and characters, allowing me to adapt quickly, to quickly understand the difficulties (or the talent) and to adjust my teaching to each student.
- Thanks to my 7 years of studies, I have a high level in the scientific subjects offered in secondary school, allowing me to give very clear and colorful explanations to help understanding.

Laying and consolidating the foundations of mathematics and science in middle and high school is essential to developing your children's reasoning skills, ensuring them every chance of success in their future studies... and obviously guaranteeing them very good results at the baccalaureate or patent and throughout the year!

I am a young engineer with a recent double degree from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon and the Technical University of Denmark in general engineering and civil engineering, and I suggest you follow your children throughout the year to provide them with the basics , methods and in-depth studies that teachers do not always have the time to give to students. Having myself recently completed a scientific baccalaureate and a scientific preparatory class at the Lycée Saint Louis in Paris, I know the paths and states of mind (positive as well as negative!) of the students, and will help them progress effectively with kindness, good humor and patience.

I offer private lessons in Chemistry to school students following French, British, IB or American systems. Being a PhD-holder in Chemistry from Imperial College London, I also offer support to chemistry students at university level.
Classes are delivered online via Zoom.

In my classes:
- I encourage asking relevant questions and I am willing to repeat explanations as much as necessary.
- I use technological tools and web interfaces to provide visual support to verbal explanations, which I consider a key part of effective teaching.
- I share my own, tailored, class notes and encourage the student to take notes him/herself as practice.
- We solve problems and I also assign homework and correct it in the following lesson.

After my classes, I share my notes with my students to help them retain the information and revise.

A final year engineering student, currently on exchange at Imperial College London, I offer private lessons in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Thanks to my two years of preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (CPGE), I have acquired a solid foundation in these subjects and a rigorous working method. Originally from France, I am fluent in French and English, which allows me to teach in both languages, depending on the student's needs. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and I enjoy helping students understand, progress and gain confidence, whether to overcome difficulties or to improve.
