Introduction to Art History: Exploring Masterpieces Across Eras

Everyone learns differently. That's why I teach the way you want. You decide what you want to learn and how, including when your lesson takes place and how long it lasts. I teach art history to anyone who wants to, regardless of age or level, online or at my home in Velp. You can learn about, among other things, the visual arts, music and literature from prehistory to the present. You can work towards an exam/test/training or just learn out of interest. Whether it concerns Michelangelo's David or the graffiti on the walls of Dubai, I'll be happy to tell you about it. Anything is possible. I trained as a musician/writer and teacher. I have over 10 years of experience in education and have taught art history, music history, creative writing, and other subjects to the upper grades of a small secondary school for several years, where I am also a team member. I write teaching materials that are used at various secondary and higher education schools. I have extensive experience with innovative teaching methods and one-on-one teaching. I am a CEDILS-certified Italian teacher born and raised in Florence, and I've also been a language student myself for a long time! If you want to be able to interact with Italians quickly, I can give you some tips about correct pronunciation, fundamental grammar, and vocabulary, but also Italian art and popular culture, which I think is fundamental to understanding the mentality and the country that you are going to interact with. Lessons will be tailored according to the student's needs, level, and mother language and focused on the conversation. I am also available to proofread your writings.

History is crucial for understanding the world we live in, as well as the historical events and processes that most influence us today. In history courses, you'll learn about various periods in history, but we'll also specialize in practical cases that help us understand periods in the past.

History is the vector that allows us to better understand our society, the world in which we live. It is essential for general culture. The level of the course will adapt to the level of the student, from primary to university. It is also possible to adapt it in relation to an exam or competition to be taken, or to a person wishing to complete their general knowledge on a particular subject.

Greek Art A-Z is a journey into the world of Modern Greek Art & culture from the independence of the Greek State to the present times. We will explore together all the important artistic creations and set them in their historical and social context, in order to understand their coherence, establish the direct relationship between art and the cultural evolution of each period, and connect Art with life. Art, whether it serves religion, beliefs, ideals, passions, ambitions, hopes, or the need for communication, is a unique aesthetic experience combining myth with history and science. I am a certified teacher and offer individualized teaching methods. I also help with exam preparation, both for specific courses and the EVAU (Examination and Assessment of Achievement Levels). I offer personalized classes for middle and high school students who want to delve deeper into these subjects in a dynamic and understandable way. I have a degree in Geography and History from Pablo de Olavide University, a Master's Degree in English from the same university, and a B2 level in English. I truly enjoy teaching and helping students reach their full potential. Classes are currently online, but I can offer in-person classes in Tomares, Castilleja de la Cuesta, Gines, Mairena del Aljarafe, and parts of Seville. History must be taught comprehensively. As a literature student, history teacher, you are invited to history lessons in the most unique way. I have taught a level literature. I write for publication. I am a panelists to an annual writing contest. I am a Christian writer and author.

You will always need a blank piece of paper and a pencil for class. Some people say that you need fancy materials to make art but that is far from the truth. Using what you have at home is perfect! We will be taking notes each class on techniques and we will also be doing sketches every class. On the first day of class we will start by setting goals for something we want to learn more about in art. I will work with you to gradually get to that place you want. Art is something that you learn just like everything else, putting in the work is part of learning and is needed in the subject of art as well!

I offer private lessons and / or tutoring in French and English from primary to 3rd grade. I have the necessary educational materials, tools and methods to contribute to the academic success of children and will be delighted to develop their taste for literature, as well as their creative potential.
