I'm going to tell a little of my story to see if it motivates you to learn the violin.

I learned the violin when I was 13 because my father wanted me to. I thought it was boring and I just wanted to have fun like all other teenagers. But when I got to know the way that my first violin teacher taught I ended up loving the violin.

And want to know more? I had a gift and I didn't know it. Today at 36 years old, I have a degree in Music, I have 2 master's degrees and I play with great orchestras here in Brazil.
