Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way.

The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson.

For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry!
I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute.

I propose saxophone lessons for all ages, all levels, and in all styles. I have been running private lessons for 25 years, as well as giving workshops and master classes in colleges and universities. During a lesson I encourage the student to work on: posture, breathing and the position of the mouth (embouchure), helping the projection of sound; the development of the tone; i teach the student how to phrase and play a beautiful melody; techniques of improvisation; understanding harmony; having confidence in his/her playing skills; techniques of listening and interacting with the rhythm section; learning new songs and experiencing different styles of music; Introductions to key saxophonists. Qu'est-ce que la méthode Suzuki ?

Il y a plus de 40 ans, Suzuki a réalisé les implications du fait que les enfants du monde entier apprennent facilement à parler leur langue maternelle. Il a commencé à appliquer les principes de l'acquisition du langage à l'apprentissage de la musique, appelant sa méthode l'approche de la langue maternelle. Idées de responsabilité parentale, encouragement affectueux, répétition constante, etc. sont quelques particularités de la méthode Suzuki.

Participation parentale:

Comme lorsque les enfants apprennent à parler, les parents participent à l'apprentissage musical de leur enfant. Ils assistent aux cours avec l'enfant et servent de « professeurs à domicile » pendant la semaine. Un parent apprend généralement à jouer avant l'enfant, afin qu'il puisse comprendre ce que son enfant doit faire. Les parents travaillent avec l'enseignant pour créer un environnement d'étude agréable.
