In deze lessen zal ik je stapsgewijs en persoonsgebonden aanleren om te tokkelen op de gitaar. Dit aan de hand van partituren. Als je nog geen noten kan lezen, geen paniek, dit kan ik je ook aanleren. Verder kan je er ook voor kiezen om akkoorden te leren. Ook als je liever enkel akkoorden speelt en geen noten wil lezen, is dit mogelijk. Akkoorden gebruik je om jezelf of anderen te begeleiden bij het zingen of spelen.

Ik geef reeds 7 jaar les aan alle leeftijdsgroepen. Elke leerling is anders en ik ga in overleg met hen wat zij willen leren. Mijn methode baseert zich op plezier hebben, wat zeker niet af neemt aan de kwaliteit van de lessen, integendeel. Een gemotiveerde leerling, leert en onthoudt dubbel zo snel. Communicatie staat centraal, dit gaat in beide richtingen. Ik sta er dan ook op dat de leerling zich vrij moet voelen om vragen te kunnen stellen, ook buiten de les indien iets echt onduidelijk is. Ik ben een gevoelens persoon, en ontwikkel graag een persoonlijke band met mijn leerlingen. Dit versterkt het vertrouwen, waardoor zowel leerling als leerkracht meer geïnvesteerd zijn.

Ik heb mijn bachelor in de klassieke gitaar behaald aan het conservatorium te Gent, in België. Dit bij docent Yves Storms en docent Johan Fostier. Momenteel werk ik mijn bachelor klassieke zang af.

The guitar is undoubtedly one of the most popular instruments of the modern age. It is so versatile and used in many genres ranging from classical music to Death Metal and even Electronic Music.

I will teach you the basics of playing the guitar, and I'll spice it up later with my experience in composition and songwriting. We will learn by example through the famous songs that shaped our understanding of the guitar. Whether you prefer singer-songwriter-style songs, or thrash metal we'll get there together.

I will teach mainly using the guitar tablature format, we can do sheet music which is generally unneeded for anything besides classical, but I will need to refresh my music sheet reading skills as I haven't had to read any in the last 10 years.

My name is Eman, I'm a certified Voice & Speech Therapist at Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Working at Demrdash Hospital & Ain Shams Specialized Hospital as a Voice & Speech Therapist.

1- Organic causes: physiological voice disorders that result from alterations in respiratory, laryngeal, or vocal tract mechanisms.

A) Structural: organic voice disorders that result from physical changes in the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Polyps.
- Vocal Nodules.
- Edema
- Cysts on the vocal cords, growths that aren't cancer.

B) Neurogenic causes: organic voice disorders that result from problems with the central or peripheral nervous system innervation to the larynx that affect functioning of the vocal mechanism, such as:
- Vocal tremor.
- Spasmodic dysphonia.
- Vocal fold paralysis.
- Vocal cord paralysis or weakness.

2- Functional causes: voice disorders that result from inefficient use of the vocal mechanism when the physical structure is normal, such as:
- Vocal fatigue.
- Muscle tension Dysphonia or Aphonia.
- Diplophonia.

· Accompaniment: Introduction to accompanying flamenco cante (singing) and baile (dance) – chord progressions, capo placement, and staying locked in with the singer.

· Harmonic analysis of the music you are playing.

The core of every lesson focuses on healthy vocal technique, including breath support, vocal placement, resonance, range development, and vocalises. We also apply the work to a song of your choice.
