I am a very passionate pianist and piano teacher based in Bangalore, India currently and I have lot of experience teaching piano and keyboard to beginners of all ages, especially kids. I am articulate, organized and methodical in my teaching and I will make sure that the student understands perfectly and plays according to the demands of the music. I regularly give out practice assignments as homework and also motivate and exhort the students to give their best to what they are doing. I'm sure students will love the way I teach and improve greatly at playing the piano under my tutelage (with regular practice on their part, of course.) I can also train students for Trinity or ABRSM graded music exams. We can decide class timings after mutual discussion.
An approximate blueprint of what I would be teaching starting from beginner to advanced:
1. Scales and fingering
2. Simple keyboard exercises
3. Reading sheet music notation using the rules
4. Teaching simple and popular songs through sheets
5. Chords, inversions, arpeggios, dynamics and articulation
6. Other rules of notation and learning more complex songs, improving sight reading
7. Interpretation of classical pieces or any other popular songs whose sheets are available

I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young.
