The Russian language proves to be very challenging for all speakers - even for those born in Russia. However, I have excellent knowledge of the normative literary Russian language thanks to my philological and pedagogical academic training. The major linguistic pair I work with is Russian - English . Although it becomes helpful for the students when I also incorporate references to French or Dutch when needed. As an experienced private tutor and university teacher who understands the struggles of her students, I'm able to find a personal approach to each of them. I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and I gained experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the People's University (Volksuniversiteit) in The Hague (Netherlands). Since 2015 I have been teaching Polish to adults from different backgrounds at this university.
