I'm Maria, and my mission is to help you improve your Portuguese through conversation. My method focuses on light, practical, and patient conversation. I believe that fluency comes with constant practice and overcoming the fear of making mistakes. Our classes will be natural conversations about topics of interest to you, and more, such as: news, travel, culture, work, movies, series, music, or your hobbies. I will be there to guide you, correct your pronunciation, and introduce new expressions naturally and in the right context. If you already have a basic understanding but are afraid of making mistakes, conversing in Portuguese with someone, or improving your pronunciation, I am the ideal teacher for you!

My name is Nicolas, and I am a Brazilian Portuguese teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I have been speaking Portuguese for about ten years now. I learned the language while living in Brazil for several long periods, both for study and work. I am currently living there again.

Having also gone through the process of learning to speak this language, I am well aware of the different stages my students go through. This helps a lot.

My lessons are tailor-made to achieve personal goals and are adapted to the specific needs of each student.

Practice is prioritized throughout the learning process in order to gain autonomy as quickly as possible. Grammar is also covered, depending on the student's level.

This course is aimed at:
- Beginners (basics, conversation, travel);
- Intermediate/advanced learners (improvement, exam preparation);
- Professionals (business Portuguese, interview preparation).
