I offer a course in Japan focused on developing grammar and vocabulary—two aspects that are both difficult and frequent—in spoken language. This course aims to provide an innovative approach to linguistic techniques, without being a theoretical or academic subject.

During the lessons, I combine the theoretical aspect of the language, essential for speaking correctly, with the practical aspect, which allows one to express oneself understandably and to interact effectively with native speakers, while maintaining a certain critical distance from both.

Thanks to my experience in Japanese interpretation and my stays in Japan, I can convey a natural and spontaneous approach to the language.

The course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and writing (kanji). Starting from the perspective of a speaker of an Indo-European language, it aims to allow learners to acquire the structure of Japanese naturally, freeing them from any unconscious biases related to their native language.

I also pay particular attention to the link between written and spoken language – an often surprising aspect in Japanese – so as not to separate these two dimensions.

I am from Paris, I speak four languages including English and Japanese. I like to share my passion for my mother tongue as I did during 3 years in prestigious universities.

Since I graduated with a master's degree in Japanese language and civilization, I have been teaching Japanese to beginners and intermediates online, as I did as a tutor at the University of Paris 7.

At university Paris 2, I taught french and explained the specific words applied in french law to foreign students. At university Paris 7, I supervised the dissertations redaction of foreign scholarship holders.

Since I’m in Japan, I organized courses about grammar and conversation to more than 30 students, from beginners to advanced level. I also made special preparation for language examination as JLPT and DELF exam, courses about French literature and history. Also, technical lessons about French gastronomy, chanson and other cultural fields.

This course is for learners who have some Japanese knowledge
b) Informal tutoring (A2-)
If you have any materials you would like to use during the lesson, feel free to send them to me prior to the lessons.
In this lesson, I do not prepare materials.

My classes will depend on the needs of the student in question, but I have material to provide theoretical and explanatory review of topics or classes that need to be reviewed, as well as exercises for practice and books if necessary.
Classes will be virtual at times that will be agreed upon depending on the preferences of each student and some things will be shown by sharing the screen (such as slides or exercise statements) and others will be with a camera (to show ways to solve exercises or necessary explanations).
The content I provide is Japanese for beginners at the moment (what is necessary to take about 2-3 years of study in case you are interested in learning the language).
