من أنا؟

I am from Iasi (Romania), a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, and a native-level speaker and teacher of French ; I have been living in France for twelve years. I have a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Strasbourg, and am a specialist in poetry (Romanian, French, English). I teach literature at the University of Grenoble-Alpes, and have been giving private lessons in Romanian for several years.

I am passionate about languages and literature (Comparative Literature is a field which establishes links between literary expression in different countries and cultures, as well as between the “foreign languages” of the arts). Teaching is one of the things I most enjoy doing in life. I am dedicated to my students and very enthusiastic.

As a Romanian-Spanish bilingual with a fairly high level of French and English, I offer conversation sessions in Romanian to learn and improve your oral and written communication and comprehension.

Impeccable pronunciation and grammar. Technical/scientific vocabulary but also popular and familiar. Intended for women and young girls only.

Let’s start your Arabic journey together!

The class can be taught in Romanian, English or Spanish and can be personally designed for a more relaxed or advanced approach to each language to improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Depending on the level and intended purpose for choosing this class, we’ll take a look at the Big 2 (Grammar in Vocabulary) and, if time allows it, Phonetics, Morphology and Syntax.
Different cultural references will be presented and discussed for each cultural and linguistic space. We’ll be using literary and audio materials as time progresses.
All will mostly be taught as Second Languages for foreigners and since they are also second to me, we will understand and fight the struggle together.
