Ik ben een eerstegraads docent Frans. De afgelopen jaren heb ik gewerkt in Frans-Guyana, Spanje en Colombia. Hier heb ik Nederlands, Engels en Frans lesgegeven. Als docent haal ik de meeste voldoening uit het persoonlijke contact met de studenten en uit het overbrengen van mijn taalkennis. Ik vind het leuk om dingen uit te leggen en nieuwe activerende werkvormen te bedenken. Dit zijn mijn twee sterkste punten. Doordat ik zelf meerdere vreemde talen heb geleerd en geïnteresseerd ben in het leren van nieuwe talen kan ik me uitstekend verplaatsen in de studenten. Daarnaast heb ik door mijn reislust verschillende landen en culturen gezien en vele contacten opgedaan met mensen over de hele wereld.

Hallo! Alles goed? Ik ben Ruud, 29 jaar en kom uit Nederland. Ik hou van talen en help je dan ook graag met Nederlands, Engels, Frans of Spaans. Doordat ik zelf deze talen heb geleerd en geïnteresseerd ben in het leren van nieuwe talen kan ik me uitstekend verplaatsen in de studenten. Daarnaast heb ik door mijn reislust verschillende landen en culturen gezien en vele contacten opgedaan met mensen over de hele wereld. Mijn lessen zijn gestructureerd. Dit houdt in dat elke les begint met een introductie waar we terugblikken op de vorige les en één of meerdere lesdoelen opstellen. Na de introductie volgt een korte uitleg en bespreken we enkele oefeningen om het geleerde in de praktijk toe te passen. Na elke les stuur ik een evaluatieformulier op naar de student. Hier staan enkele opmerkingen op waardoor de student de les nog eens rustig kan overzien. Om een taal goed te leren is herhaling namelijk heel belangrijk. De focus tijdens de lessen ligt op de spreekvaardigheid.

In 2009 ben ik begonnen met de studie Franse taal en cultuur aan de Radboud Universiteit. Hier heb ik 2 masters behaald: een master Franse taalwetenschappen en een educatieve master (1e graads docent Frans).

الخبرة / المؤهلات

In 2015 heb ik mijn 2e master behaald. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik op 3 verschillende middelbare scholen lesgegeven, gedurende 1,5 jaar. Vervolgens heb ik 7 maanden gewerkt als Nederlands taalassistent in Frans-Guyana. Hier heb ik lesgegeven aan kinderen van 6 t/m 11 jaar. Na dit avontuur ben ik naar Spanje vertrokken waar ik een TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)-diploma heb behaald. In Spaans Baskenland heb ik ruim een jaar gewerkt als Engels en Frans docent (zowel in scholen als online). Afgelopen jaar ben ik 7 maanden gaan reizen door Mexico, Colombia en Costa Rica. In Colombia heb ik 5 weken als vrijwilliger Engels lesgegeven. Door deze ervaringen spreek ik ook een aardig woordje Spaans.

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
