Hello everybody! :)

I am a teacher with a CELTA certification granted by the Cambridge English Language Assessment of the University of Cambridge.

In my classes, English is dynamic and exercised through games and interactions. I combine grammar and vocabulary in traditional exercises and also through digital platforms.
I teach the topics in context as this helps to better internalize what has been learned. I have planned activities but I also like that students can choose their own topic or path of work, as this allows learning to be meaningful and ultimately they can learn to communicate freely in the language.

I have experience working with students in individual and group classes, in companies, professional institutes and language centres. So you can choose individual, couple or group classes, as you prefer.

I come from Chile but I live in France and teach English to adults, executives or higher education students. I love travelling and enjoy taking photographs, especially of flowers.
I'm 33 years old and I have been teaching English for 6 years now. I'm really passionate about my job and meeting people. Usually, I use videos and audio recordings as part of the teaching tools and also ebooks to make it more interactive and fun.

Education

I have a Teaching degree for Secondary Education and a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Adults) awarded by Cambridge Assessment and a Diploma in Educational Technology and Mobile Apps.

Expérience / Qualifications

I worked for 9 years in the management of IELTS. The International English Language Testing System. And I have been teaching English for 6 years now, as a private teacher/tutor and as an Academic in Higher Education.

Following the acquisition of my LEA (Applied Foreign Languages) degree, I have been accepted into the Master of International Project Management (Culture and Communication) English - Chinese course. I also had the chance to live 3 months in Vancouver (in Canada) where I developed my level of English while doing an internship in a tourism company. For me, this language has a strong interest, especially for my future work.

In my opinion, when we want to learn a foreign language, we have to do it interactively and fun. At the same time, to learn and study texts, oral comprehensions but also, to play themed games (to learn vocabulary), to watch music video clips, series, films in original version subtitled. With me, students will learn English in a relaxing atmosphere and have fun.

English is a beautiful language nowadays and it is especially essential, for studies, travel, to make friends and of course in the professional world.

I am a student at the ESPE in Brest and as a future teacher of English, I offer my services for all those who wish to learn English, enrich their vocabulary, understand and master grammar, and this, orally as in writing.

Patient and passionate, I give my classes with a lot of pleasure, with the main objective of communicating my passion with my students.

I spent almost 6 months in North America (USA and Canada) last year, it taught me a lot and allowed me to develop my English in an extraordinary way.
