I am a native English Speaker from London England. I currently live in Valencia in Spain teaching English in a Primary school, children aged 4 years to 12 years. I really enjoy teaching and helping people improve and grow in confidence. I am a qualified teacher with a degree in Law. I actually practiced as a Lawyer for six years. I can teach remotely online, or somewhere in Valencia of your choosing. My lessons are fun and interactive. In the UK I have worked with children for the last ten years. I give private classes, mainly English or Spanish classes. But there are also several basic level subjects that I can teach for children up to 4th grade. Regarding the methodology of my classes, I like to teach based on significant content, related to the interests and needs of the students to foster interest in the subject. Therefore, I try to design activities and exercises that are governed by a context that is enjoyable and fun for the student instead of teaching from dense theory and isolated words or phrases. I like to transmit the language as a communicative need and not as an academic process. That is, teach the language for daily life, not just to fulfill a subject.

I am an experienced primary school teacher of 12 years and a mother. I have taught in a wide range of different schools including international schools in Dubai, Germany, and Spain, and many inner-city schools in and around Liverpool. I particularly enjoy teaching maths and utilize a plethora of different creative techniques in order to instill both a love of learning and a clear, confident understanding of the subject. I assist English teachers in schools in preparing materials and presentations in English. I can offer conversational practice online or in person through engaging in activities, such as going for a coffee, shopping, going for a walk in the park and having a chat in English or Hungarian. Personally, one of the main things that I have noticed when speaking a foreign language is that most people are aware of the grammar, but they are lacking of confidence in speaking! When you are about to take up a job, an exam, or simply having a conversation about anything - knowledge of grammar helps of course, but what you really need is to speak! Don’t be afraid of making mistakes! I can offer general assistance with grammar in English, or if you want to learn Hungarian then in Hungarian, but I don’t speak Spanish, therefore you are really forced to speak the language - perhaps that’s a good thing! I’m flexible and easy going and I believe in a person-centred approach, which means we are all different individually when it comes to learning anything (a foreign language included) and we are not one-size-fits all. Therefore, please you tell me as well what suits you, what is your goal, so that we both can be creative, and teaching as well as learning can be fun, productive and meaningful!
