Ms Lin has been teaching and assessing for GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and Pre-U Chinese since 2007. She is a Cambridge certified Teacher Trainer, Ofqual External Subject Expert and AQA Lead Expert in Mandarin. She specialises in training, mentoring, assessment and quality assurance for major exam boards.

Ms Lin creates resources for teachers and learners for the assessment and teacher training qualifications. She has worked as the Principal Examiner for Edexcel A Level and Cambridge IGCSE Mandarin Chinese, producing question papers and mark schemes.

She is currently the Head of Chinese at Trinity School of John Whitgift. Her students have achieved 100% A*-A results year on year. She proactively works in a variety of examining and consulting roles.

Her way of approaching Chinese is through various creative games and challenges. Time will fly so fast during the lesson with Ms Lin. You will not just learn the language but learn the attitude, confidence and effective methods, entering the world of Chinese language!

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above.

You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland.
