Greek Language, Greek literature, Greek poetry, Greek slunk so you can "bee" yourself at summertime

As a sociologist critical thinking is priority in my life. Try to improve yourself through it and never look back. Dialogs, conversations about everyday pleasures and follow a path of happiness and devotion can teach us apart from language also a new way of thinking and acting. Always try to get better from you and for you.
Enjoy 😊

Tanya
Spanish with a polyglot (8 languages) and Professional teacher, language coach
Hi! I'm Tanya. I was born in Italy, but for the last two years of my life I have traveled the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East, traveling and working remotely. In my life I have lived in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. I am a professional teacher with 6 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice. I have a degree in languages, certified in international law and a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language, but also how to learn new languages! I will closely monitor and monitor your entire learning journey, to get the most out of your skills! That's because I love learning new languages! That's why after years of studying I became a polyglot (8 languages - Italian, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch) and I came up with a method to teach you the language you want to learn! Over the years I have learned to model my work according to the personal needs of each student and have developed a method that allows my students to learn the language in a fast and fun way. My hobby is my greatest passion is learning other languages, therefore from my experience I can understand many of the problems associated with learning a foreign language. I am also a language coach, which means that my lessons are based on a specific method that I have designed to facilitate and accelerate learning. My classes are available in Italian, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Dutch and Arabic. GROUP LESSONS possible! See you soon! :-)

Ask me about Jamaica! Are you curious to learn more about Jamaica- to go beyond Reggae and Jerk? Its history, people, politics and culture?
Ever wondered about life in Jamaica beyond the lights of Kingston’s allure? This class offers an ethnographic journey of practises and cultures in rural Jamaica, illustrated through photos, songs and videos. Let's explore life in rural Jamaica! Born and raised in a remote rural district/village, I will take you on an authentic journey of first hand experiences- reliving fond childhood memories, the stories my grandmother told me and what a typical day is like. This will be grounded in the history and culture of Jamaica. Coming from a background in diplomacy, sharing about Jamaica's culture and historical experiences has always been essential for opening the door to a deeper unerstanding. I have an avid interest in other cultures and always take the time to explore wherever I go. Having been to South and Central America, Asia, North America and Europe, I know the unique value of such rich experiences. Whenever I was home-sick while posted abroad, talking about my homeland was the only cure. I will share with you all there is about living in rural Jamaica, from different perspectives of my childhood, teenage years and adult life. One unique bit is that the district's enduring small farms form the centrepiece around which everything revolves. Come prepared with a curious mind, and if you want to make notes take your pen and paper or do so on your devices. It is important for me that your are learning, so I encourage you to ask questions. Let's go beyond Kington's enigma!

Economics and Social Sciences course (eco-special / sciences-Po / Humanities)
Former high school SES teacher, holder of a license in economics and legal sciences, offers methodology courses in SES. Some students have accumulated shortcomings inherited from previous years; how can we provide them with effective help? A) The catch-up prerequisite: -Copy your lessons poorly transcribed since the beginning of the year. -Integrate the review sheets from the previous year into this year's lessons. -Enrich your course notes through documentary research. - Get a clear and concise idea of the economic history of Europe and the world over the last two centuries. You must also; -Know the main lines of economic thought of the last two centuries (liberalism, utilitarianism, Marxism etc.…). -Master the fundamental notions of economic and political sciences: Public / private, Individual / group, rational / emotional etc.… - Feel at your ease in algebra and know how to read all types of functions. B) The dissertation and the synthesis of documents. To succeed in the essay exercise, it is imperative to know how to carry out the "document synthesis" to its end. The "document synthesis" exercise requires mastery of the following methods: -Methodology of the comparative study of scientific texts, essays, specialized writings, newspaper articles etc.… -Methods of reading and interpreting statistical data (tables, wafers, diagrams, etc.) and graphs of functions. -Iconology (knowing how to interpret an image). -Understand the challenges of micro and macroeconomics in modern nation states. SES courses, economics, sociology - College and high school level any level
A typical course is organized as follows: 1- Learning phase in which I present the concepts and ideas to be retained for the course. 2- Applying these concepts to be sure that you have correctly assimilated them. 3- Debrief phase with you. As I went through a preparatory class for two years, my level in SES is quite respectable. I have already given dozens of hours of lessons to many students who all come out enriched according to their words.

Talk about difficult situations in life/ Praten over lastige situaties in het leven
This is not a class, but an opportunity to discuss difficult situations in life. As a professional social worker I will provide you a listening ear, advise where possible and it's an opportunity to spar about certain situations. There will be no judgement and I'll be there to support you. I can't offer a one-size-fits-all solution, but this is meant to vent and to possibly see situations from a different perspective. Positivity and reality are very important to me and with that I will offer this meeting. This meeting is for everyone who just wants to talk! This meeting will be in English or Dutch, depends on the request, and online.

Adult ESL, ESL for expat parents, ESL in the Netherlands
After working for four years as a private tutor in Amsterdam for numerous international families, I have discovered a love for teaching Adult ESL. My goal is to not only to teach ESL tailored to life in the Netherlands, but to also offer advice and support to expat adults around life in Amsterdam. I currently work with the parents of many of my students who wish to improve their English. I am a former primary school teacher (International School of Choueifat-Dubai) who now works exclusively as a private tutor. My students are mainly expats, though I also do have several local Dutch students. Having moved around quite a bit, I understand the stress families undergo adapting to a new school system. After four year in Amsterdam, I also now understand the unique stress parents also endure adapting to Dutch culture and regular use of the English language. My teaching methods focus on improving Adult ESL that is tailored specifically to life in the Netherlands. I design my teaching plans, with my students, to cover the most essential aspects of English that are needed to navigate life in Amsterdam. Moreover, I have a deep understanding of how English in the Netherlands differs from conversational English in other countries. I have a grasp of the nuances of both languages and the areas which pose particular difficulty. I really enjoy the motivation of my adult students and the unique friendships I have formed through teaching. I know how isolated some parents who are neither native English nor Dutch speakers feel when moving to Amsterdam. I am happy to teach all ages either in person or via webcam. **All rates include 21% KVK sales tax
