in this class i will teach you how to make a character for videogame. you will be taught how to approach it by using software like zbrush, maya, substance painter, etc
we will start with discussing the concept and then proceed to sketching in zbrush, then we make the costume using Marvelous Designer and/or zbrush, at the same time we will create the gears and any accessories needed for the character, after that we go to maya for retopo, then toolbag for baking, sp for texturing and finally we render it in toolbag

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels.

I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story.

I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.

I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.
