Hi, I'm Deepak, and I have over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. I earned my project management degree from the UK and hold a coaching certification from Ic agile. Throughout my career, I have worked with leading tech firms and their clients, including top banks and multinational corporations.

I enjoy mentoring and teaching. I find it rewarding to share my knowledge and help others learn and grow. Additionally, I have a few hobbies that I enjoy pursuing, such as art, cooking, and writing. I find that my diverse interests and skills help me to be a more effective tutor, as I can use real-life examples and analogies to explain complex concepts in IT project management.

I have taught Project Management over the years both formally and informally to students, professionals and leaders. I am certified by IC Agile to coach agile project teams at an enterprise level. I am also hands on with PMP based traditional project management, project management artefacts and tools as well.

DSDM is an Agile method that has been around since 1995. The most recent version is called DSDM Atern. Agile Project Management (Agile PM) is a project management approach based on DSDM. This approach is described in the Agile Project Management Handbook. This handbook has the same layout, and largely the same text, as the DSDM handbook, but focuses on the project management aspect.

DSDM and Agile PM focus on a 'convergent' project approach, based on 'Enough Design UpFront'. This combines the Agile flexibility with the need to stay in control and not to introduce unnecessary risks through the Agile way of working. This is especially important in larger, more formal organizations and / or in larger projects. Agile PM can be used within ISO9001 and CMMI.

Agile Project Management is based on DSDM® Atern and can (optionally) be integrated into a broader PRINCE2 approach. Agile Project Management is a flexible method for developing solutions and therefore (but not only) for software development.

AgilePM® is ideally suited to combine with Scrum. Scrum does not know the concept of a project and focuses on the work done by and within a team. Agile PM is then used to stay in control at the higher project level. This is particularly useful when several Scrum teams work within a project.

During this interactive workshop I will take you into the world of Lean.

Lean is an international method that is applied within many companies. Lean has many tools and many roles.

That is why there are different levels, also called 'belts', where training can be followed. This Lean light workshop does not fall under a belt, but gives a summary of the basics and the most important tools that can be applied immediately.

Lean is about working more effectively and efficiently by looking at processes.

This can be a process within your own company, or the process at home of making coffee, for example.

After this workshop:
- You know where Lean originated and you recognize the house of Toyota
- Do you know which waste Lean recognizes and can you recognize this within your own work / private environment
- Do you know how to apply the 5S method? It is no longer possible to see any improvement potential.

Invest 1.5 hours of your time and get to know this versatile method in an accessible way, namely at home behind the computer with your own cup of coffee or soft drink. ;-)
