This online photography course is designed for anyone looking to build a more thoughtful, intentional approach to image-making. Whether you're starting out or refining your practice, the class focuses on photography as both a technical craft and a form of personal or documentary expression.

You'll be encouraged to develop your own visual language through a mix of technical guidance, creative exercises, and reflective assignments.

The course is designed to be accessible, supportive, and grounded in curiosity rather than perfectionism. You can work with any camera you have access to, including smartphones.

Ideal for artists, students, and anyone interested in using photography to explore the world around them with more clarity and intention.

I bring over 10 years photographic experience to the table, with both a BA (HONS) from UAL and MA degree in photography from the Royal College of Art. I am also happy to help with art school applications and crafting artist statements, regardless of artistic medium. I am particularly interested in engaging with people who work with writing and prose in their practice, or who are looking/seeking to incorporate this into their photography projects.

L’objectif des cours est d’aider les débutants en photographie à mieux comprendre et maîtriser leur appareil afin d’exploiter pleinement leur potentiel.

Les cours sont individuels et accessibles à tous, pour un accompagnement personnalisé et adapté à votre rythme. Je conseille en général des séances de 1h30, car 1h passe souvent trop vite, surtout lorsqu’il y a de la pratique.

Les cours peuvent être pris à l’unité, mais pour plus de simplicité et bénéficier de tarifs avantageux, des packs de cours sont également disponibles.

Pack n°1 : Les bases de la photographie – de la prise de vue à l’export final
Ce pack se compose de 5 cours individuels de 1h30, répartis en 3 modules complémentaires, pour vous accompagner pas à pas dans l’apprentissage de la photographie.
Module 1 : Bases techniques et prise en main de l’appareil
Dans ce premier module, nous abordons toutes les bases techniques indispensables pour comprendre et maîtriser votre appareil photo : le triangle de l’exposition, les différents modes de prise de vue, la balance des blancs, les modes de mise au point, ainsi que les spécificités de votre boîtier.
À l’issue de ce module, votre appareil photo n’aura plus de secret pour vous : vous saurez à quoi servent chaque bouton et chaque réglage, et surtout quand et comment les utiliser.
Module 2 : Composition et gestion de la lumière
Ce module est consacré aux règles fondamentales de la composition et à la gestion de la lumière dans différentes situations : paysage, street photography ou portrait. Nous verrons également les principes de cadrage et leur signification.
À la fin de ce module, vous connaîtrez les règles de composition, saurez les appliquer... et apprendrez aussi quand et comment vous en affranchir.
Module 3 : Post-production
Dans ce dernier module, je vous transmettrai mes conseils et bonnes pratiques pour le stockage et le tri de vos photos sur ordinateur. Nous verrons également le fonctionnement de Lightroom, aussi bien pour la gestion de la bibliothèque que pour la retouche, ainsi que les différents formats d’export. Si vous le souhaitez, nous aborderons également les bases à connaître pour l’impression de vos photos.
À l’issue de ce module, Lightroom n’aura plus de secret pour vous, et vous disposerez de toutes les bases nécessaires, de la prise de vue jusqu’à l’export final.

Pack n°2 : Bases techniques et prise en main de l’appareil
Ce pack se compose de 2 cours individuels de 1h30, entièrement dédiés à la prise de vue. Le contenu correspond au module 1 du pack “Les bases de la photographie”
À l’issue de ces deux cours, vous serez en mesure de comprendre et de maîtriser les réglages essentiels de votre appareil.

Pack n°3 : Les bases de la post-production – de l’import à l’export sur Lightroom
Ce pack se compose de 2 cours individuels de 1h30, entièrement consacrés à la post-production. Il se concentre uniquement sur le flux de travail sur Lightroom, de l’import de vos photos jusqu’à l’export final (correspond au module 3 du pack “Les bases de la photographie”).
À l’issue de ces deux cours, vous maîtriserez les bases essentielles de Lightroom pour organiser, retoucher et exporter vos images efficacement.

Pack n°4 : Prendre confiance en photographie
Ce pack se compose de 2 cours individuels de 1h30, entièrement dédiés à la pratique. L’objectif est de vous aider à gagner en confiance avec votre appareil photo grâce à des conseils personnalisés et des situations de prise de vue concrètes.
Ce pack s’adresse aux personnes ayant déjà acquis les bases techniques nécessaires afin de pouvoir se concentrer pleinement sur la pratique et le développement de leur aisance photographique.

In a few private lessons I will teach you all the important skills, so that you can do everything you want.

I am an (art) photographer and teacher and I have been giving private Photoshop lessons for over 12 years.

Private lessons are available in the afternoon and evening and on Saturdays. I teach via video calling or personally in Amsterdam East.

I tailor the lessons to your needs, interests and pace so that you effectively learn what you want. I work with a minimum of two hours per lesson. Longer lessons at a time are of course also possible. Ask about special student/package prices.

In this course, you will learn how to scan any object using Reality Capture software. This efficient and powerful software was first used for the preservation of archaeological objects and historical monuments, but is now used for video games, VFX and virtual reality, as it offers tools and results of a impressive quality, all in an easy-to-use interface.

In this course, you will be able to learn:
-How does photogrammetry work?
-How to take suitable photos
-How to prepare these photos for their use in the software
-How to use these photos to reconstruct an object in 3D and apply a realistic texture to it
-How to optimize scans for custom use (games, movies, etc.)

Gradually, we will solidify these skills to learn how to build a library of highly realistic objects based on high resolution scans.

It is also possible to present your projects to me and to obtain personalized help on them.

Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine?

Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters?

If you have those concerns, I would love to help you.

I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels.

I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story.

I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.

I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

I work as a 3D generalist for cinema and/or video games, with a specialization in 3D Layout/Préviz.

Photoshop is used differently for painting and drawing than for photography retouching. I will show you how to use all the tools of the program, but I will also teach you how to think about game art, concept art and illustration, whether it is for character design, creature design, environment design or prop design. I will also teach you all the fundamentals that are essential in the industry, such as anatomy, perspective, colour and light, and composition.

After graduating from l'École Émile Cohl with a bachelor specialised in Game Art, I have had the chance of working with more than 15 different studios of video games, board games, trading card games and tabletop RPGs, creating concept art and illustrations for them. Hi !
it's a long time since I am working as a photographer, a bit more than 20 years and I really love my profession.
Photography is both a work and a passion.
I am doing fashion photography, portraits and still lifes. I enjoy the studio work.
I am also passionate about exterior photography, travel images, pictures done in nature.
I can teach you on an online class different photography subjects depending on your needs.
We could go through the very basics of photography, see how a digital or film camera works, the aperture, time, ISO speed subjects.
On an online class we could also do some more creative things like PORTRAIT techniques, or if you have FLASH lights and want to learn more we could go through it. We could also try Light Painting, with a long exposure using a torch light held by hands .

If you're already taking pictures, I'd be happy to see your work. In the last times I am personally trying to make my portfolios a bit differently than my habits. As a freelance sports photographer, I've covered events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GT World Challenge Europe, the Tour de France, GP Explorer 3, and football matches. Drawing on this experience, I offer a course for beginners and intermediate photographers who want to learn how to capture action with precision and creativity.
