Developing Photoshop and Illustrator skills is a must have for any designer, architect or visualising specialist. The combination of the two skills is important and would help you learn how to combine both softwares to create the best illustrations, graphics and visuals. I am an architect, and I specialise in these skills as I create most of my visuals and graphics using these two softwares. I have been using them for over four years and am proficient in all the shortcuts and faster methods of producing the best renders.

I am Ekaterina, an audiovisual artist based in Amsterdam. I am currently studying at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Adobe programs such as photoshop are world famous and are used by everyone: from students to designers, from online store owners to photographers. With these programs you can learn all kinds of valuable skills. In our lessons we will first identify your interests and what exactly you want to gain from our classes. After that we will start with the basics and build up to more complicated topics; finishing the class with creative assignments to practice the skills you learnt. We can have very intense classes in case you need to learn the program(s) fast, or more relaxed and extended version of the classes. Besides, we can study digital animation and sound editing. Graphic Communications taught at levels Nat 5 and Higher. I can assist with assignments but not directly have input and can teach using past papers and experience throughout my national 5, higher and advanced Higher experience.

Graduated in graphic design for almost 2 years, I offer introductory courses in graphic design and on the necessary tools of the Adobe Suite. Whether for personal projects or for your training, I will listen to your needs and adapt to your pace. I give distance lessons (webcam) or lessons at my own home. At the beginning of each session, we will establish together objectives and the stages through which we will go to reach the set goal, whether it is entering an art school or learning the technique. On request I can also learn the basics of creative drawing and observation, and the basics of using a camera. Adobe Illustrator is a great tool to bring your designs to life. I will teach you the simplest way to create line art and colourized flats for your design portfolios and interest. I will guide you through the process of scanning or uploading your own hand-drawn sketches into the program and then guide you through the process of creating 'flats'. These are industry-standard CADs (Computer Aided Designs) that will help you translate your idea into something incredible and alive.
