My name is Natavia, I am a 19 year old College student on the path to getting a BFA in Studio Art and I would love to help any beginner artists learn how to perfect their craft!

Now I will say this, I do NOT know how to teach but I will gladly answer any questions in regards to traditional and digital art, how to get started, tips and tricks, making a business and how to make it as an artist in this world based off the knowledge I have and am currently learning over Web classes!

Dans ce cours on travaillera le langage particulier de la BD, son vocabulaire et structure. On travaillera également la création de personnages, pour qu'ils aient des caractéristiques intéressantes et en lien avec ce qu'on veut raconter. Chaque élève travaillera en fonction de ses inspirations personnelles et notre objectif sera de créer (au moins) une planche de BD en taille 35x50cm en couleur ou noir et blanc.

Come and discover digital arts, animation and illustration with me. I am an artist that works in digital and traditional illustrations. You can enjoy with me the world of the line, shapes, colours and even stories using different kind of techniques such as pencil, ink, markers, watercolour and colours. We can also use in the digital world Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator. clip studio, paint, medibang paint and Firealpaca.

Digital art requires no less skill than traditional art making, but it does require a different mode of thinking. Yes, a digital device will have the ability to make a stroke look and layer like watercolour or give the texture of drawing with charcoal. However, when one learns traditional art techniques, they gain a deeper understanding of the materials and what they can do.

Do you want to learn the basics of drawing? Or are you already past that level? Do you want to draw on paper (with pencils) or on a screen? Do you want to learn the basics of 2D animation? All for a very reasonable price? We can do it!

Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city.
I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational.

I unfortunately do not speak Dutch (yet), but am confident we can overcome any potential language barrier we come across.

I have the most experience in teaching teenagers and preteens, so I think we would definitely be a good match if you're a parent or guardian looking for a teacher for your child.

Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine?

Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters?

If you have those concerns, I would love to help you.

I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels.

I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story.

I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.

I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.
