TatianaPlaying Flute (dwarsfluit) - Any age, any genre, starting now
My name is Tatiana and I am a flute player and an electronic musician.
My passion for music first started when I was young and my parents showed me Brazilian folk music and I felt that I wanted to be able to play some of my favourite songs.
I ended up in a classic conservatory and throughout my career I developed myself both as a classical and folk musician.
I started to teach when I was 18 and for 6 years I taught in a project similar to the one of El Sistema in Venezuela. There I found how music can take such a social action on a community and develop the feeling of responsibility and friendship.
In our lessons I would love tho share this feeling with you and enable you to develop the tools to share your passion with the world. This can come from playing a song, learning how to program or just by finding new ways on how to hear and experience music.
This class is open to anyone from any age.

PhoebeFlexible Music Tutoring from Oxford Music Graduate
I specialise in Musical Analysis and Performance, and am familiar with all academic and practical aspects of the GCSE and A Level curriculum. I hold ABRSM Performance Diplomas in both flute and voice, and held the positions of Principal Flute of Oxford University Orchestra and a Choral Scholar whilst at university.
I have extensive experience in flute, vocal, and music theory tuition, with many students achieving outstanding results in ABRSM, Trinity, and RSCM examinations.
I currently teach students between the ages of 13-18 at Rugby School. My teaching style is highly individualised, where I employ bespoke strategies to ensure each pupil reaches—and surpasses—their academic goals. I place great emphasis upon giving students a well-rounded introduction to specific periods and genres (such as the Classical Symphony or C20 Minimalism) by using a range of recordings to reinforce defining musical characteristics whilst developing their listening abilities. I also encourage students to listen 'around' the curriculum in order to gain a broad overview of relevant styles and structures, and subsequently provide tailored 'listening guides'. By exposing the connections and disjunctures between music from different eras, this approach provides a powerful foundation for mastering the 'compare and contrast' questions which make up many essay questions at GCSE and A Level.
I also tutor younger students in preparation for GCSE, with lessons focused on major musical periods and artistic events in order to assist their exploration of the works enshrined within—and diverging beyond—the classical musical canon.

I have worked in the National School of Arts “Prof. L. Pipkoff” Sofia, Bulgaria. My class had children of different ages and mastery of the subject. I prepared them for national exams and concert appearances. I’ve also given privet lessons.
Since every pupil is different, I believe that a good teacher always adjusts his methods to the needs and personality of his student. I strive to provide a structured and clear lesson, while focusing on music as something to be enjoyed. I work with the requirements of the grade system (from grade 1 to grade 8). In the process the child will learn: Instrumental techniques, music literacy, correct breathing and ear training.

AlexPrivate Clarinet, Flute & Saxophone lessons ONLINE
I teach the clarinet, flute and saxophone for more than 30 years and proudly can say that I helped to improve and gave a new professional path to the hundreds of students in US and overseas. I am holding a Master’s degree from St. Petersburg State Conservatory (Russia), where I studied clarinet and saxophone. St. Petersburg State Conservatory, where I picked up saxophone in addition to studying clarinet. Simultaneously, I worked as a principal clarinetist at the St.Peterburg Symphony Orchestra. Not long after, I won second place in the All-Union USSR Clarinet Competition. Upon graduating from the Conservatory, I worked as the principal clarinetist in Kiev’s State Opera House and soon after was offered a position as a clarinet and saxophone professor at my alma mater, Kiev State R.M. Gliere Higher College of Music.
If you want to learn to play the clarinet, flute or saxophone - and more so if your daughter or son does - the most promising way is to find a good teacher and take lessons.
Learning to play a musical instrument like the clarinet, flute or saxophone is more than an intellectual process, that you may manage by abstract learning. Very much alike when learning to play the instruments there are a lot of things (how to sit, hold the instrument, your embouchure, how to breathe and move relaxed, how to control a tone) to train simultaneously and these things ought to be checked.
The beginning can be difficult, and you can do a lot of things really wrong (and get used to that). Especially for the first hours it is worth to have a good teacher.
I am looking forward to teaching you music!

- Are you a professional musician wanting to improve any aspect?
- Are you a beginner wanting to pursuit the professional life or just want to have the best hobby in the world?
- Are you passionate for music and want to learn to play the flute?
- You never tried and don't know how to read music? No problem!
I did my bachelor degree in classical flute and a minor in Classical Singing. I have already given masterclasses, played in symphonic orchestras, wind orchestras and chamber music. Attended masterclasses with great flutists as Sophie Cherrier, Emmanuel Pahud, James Galway, Peter Lukas-Graf...
The lessons are different for each student and designed according to your own level and your desires - if you are preparing for a flute exam, want to do an audition, just want to improve your technique or you want to play because you always loved the flute! I will assign always something to be prepared for the next lesson like a little piece, a scale, an excerpt... something in accordance on what we are working and that will also challenge you for the next lesson and for the next step of your playing!
My goal is to help you play better and make you discover that you can actually do more than what you think! Music is good for everyone and even if you don't want to pursuit a professional career is the best hobby you can have, stimulating entirely your brain!
“Music is a therapy. It's a communication far more powerful than words, far more immediate, far more efficient."
BarbaraPrivate lessons "Flute in fashion"
I propose a course suitable for all ages (young children to retirees), and levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Since each student has strengths and weaknesses, I favor an individualized approach that is adapted to everyone's needs.
The main objective of the course is to help the student to improve in his skills (breathing, posture, articulation, accuracy, interpretation etc.). For the little ones, I practice the Suzuki method, which facilitates learning by listening and I also use other approaches, such as technical Alexander, yoga, and Qi Gong, to improve body awareness during musical performance.
I teach several musical styles (classical, contemporary, jazz and variety music), and it is important for students to enjoy the music they play.
