I specialize in tutoring ESL lessons. I put emphasis on speaking and listening through spontaneous oral talks, questions, and small dialogues that will improve the learners' speaking and listening skills. What is more, I provide guidance on correct pronunciation and sentence structure to help students construct complete and accurate sentences. Another beneficial approach I employ is the integration of visual aids such as photos, videos, and real-life objects (realia) into my lessons. These aids are used to activate students' prior knowledge and encourage discussion. With my guidance, students can improve their writing, pronunciation, speaking, and listening skills and be well-prepared for CEFR level exams (A1-C2). At the end of the lesson, I will provide them with homework to get further practice and be fully prepared for the next time. In addition, I specialize in nurturing young minds through engaging and effective learning experiences.

Covering topics like character, structure, dialogue, tone, and pacing, you'll come away from this class with the confidence and tools to start tackling longer pieces. Depending on your goals, we can focus on working your way towards a polished short play or stick to exercises that exemplify the learning process. As a practicing playwright and screenwriter, I am intimately familiar with the process of narrative storytelling. I received my MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and B.A. in Theatre from Middlebury College in Vermont. My screenplays have won awards at the Swedish International Film Festival and the Athena Film Festival. Meanwhile my most recent short play, 9.5, won the Theatre Masters Take Ten Festival and was published by Samuel French/Concord Theatricals.
