Je m'appelle Hélène et viens de Suisse romande. J'ai 30 ans, et habite près de Neuchâtel, et travaille en tant qu'animatrice socioculturelle avec des jeunes entre 8 et 18 ans. Je gère aussi une équipe de jeunes qui participent aux projets Midnights de la Fondation IdéeSport dans une commune du Littoral.
Diplômée de l'Université, j'ai étudié les migrations et l'anthropologie (les comportements humains et leurs raisons, en gros). Je suis également poétesse et animatrice. Je peux t'aider dans différents domaines selon ton niveau.
Le respect de ta vie privée et de ton intégrité physique et morale sont primordiales pour moi.

In the modern world, the significance of poetry is overlooked. From Aristotle to Derrida (the range is not comprehensive), literary theory has maintained that a poem's power is measured in its affect. Throughout this course, our goal will not be to make inscrutable poetic analysis - though the first part of the lesson will be spent analysing word choice, meter, line length and spaces of an English poem written between pre-modernism and postmodernism. Rather, through our perusal of poetic form we will be able to ground our work, somewhat modestly, in the English poetic tradition.

Before the first class you will send me some of your own work so I know how to build or refine aesthetic temperament. I have been writing poetry for ten years and two years ago I published a chapbook at a press with competitive standards, and I am currently working on a full-length collection. If you wish to take up poetry seriously, time is needed and an eye for detail is essential.

I look forward to us broadening our aesthetic sensibilities together.

Vous avez rêvé de lire Shakespeare et de donner un sens à ses propos ? Saviez-vous que certaines pièces shakespeariennes sont plus faciles à aborder que d'autres ? Dans ce cours, nous regarderons l'une des comédies fantastiques de Shakespeare ou l'une de ses tragédies. Nous lirons la pièce ensemble et discuterons de l'usage des mots, ainsi que de ses contextes historiques. Nous étudierons les passages les plus importants dans la manière dont ils ont influencé la culture mondiale. J'encourage mes élèves à mémoriser ces passages par cœur, une expérience gratifiante.

Ik geef lessen Nederlands aan kinderen, aangepast aan het niveau van het kind, de leeftijd en de doelen die bereikt wensen te worden. De lessen kunnen volledig in het Nederlands gegeven worden, of met uitleg en vertalingen in het Engels waar nodig (als het kind Engels spreekt). Bij jonge kinderen maak ik veel gebruik van onder andere vrolijke afbeeldingen, spelletjes en liedjes om de taal spelenderwijs te leren. Dit werkt uit ervaring ook prima online, via videogesprekken.
Als u me een bericht stuurt kunnen we samen de mogelijkheden doornemen.

Ahoi!

Fijn dat je je Engels wilt oefenen, leren, lezen of voor tentamens voorbereiden. Mijn naam is Klaudia en ik ben een Engles freak/taalwetenschapper. Ik geef al 5 jaar les aan kinderen, tieners en volwassenen. 2016-2017 had ik in Londen gebleven waar heb ik mijn neutrale accent aangeleerd. In 2019, ik heb TEFL 120h behaald en vanaf een jaar geef ik professioneel les.

Lessen zijn altijd op maat tot wat je nodig hebt gemaakt. Ik geloof in de individuele aandacht. Wat interesseert je, daar praten we over in het Engels. Ik voorbereid voor elke les en verwacht ik hetzelfde van jou, daarom stuur ik je altijd e-mails of berichten zodat je Engels actief in je hoofd blijft ook buiten het les.

Terwijl de les gebruiken we een aantal bijstand middelen: hand-outs, interactief media web-sites, spelen, muziek, comics, boeken, news en zo.

Het grootste voordeel van mijn nadering is flexibiliteit. Ik maak slots om in jouw agenda toe te passen. Hoe vaker je een les neemt, hoe sneller zie je de voortgang. Een les per week vind ik prima, maar een les per 2 weken is een absoluut minimum.

Leer snel, wanneer je wilt en geniet van het Engels gebruiken.

Ik heb vanwege corona een voorkeur tot online lesgeven, maar tot 20km van Amsterdam kom ik naar jou toe.

We will use practice exams to get you more comfortable with the questions and I'll give you tips. We will also look into the grammar points that are necessary for the exam. We will work on all 4 aspects: speaking skills, writing skills. reading skills and listening skills.
