With a solid science and teaching background, I can fully relate to the challenges students face when studying a scientific concept and the importance of bridging the knowledge to the real world. I strive to achieve a relaxed yet educational learning atmosphere where I use humor, real-world topics during discussions and writing exercises to help students apply the knowledge acquired. I emphasize my teaching based on applying keywords and finding out the objective of the question, so my lessons will be aligned with that concept in mind.

I am a Canadian trained teacher who moved to England to begin my exciting overseas teaching experience! I teach science in secondary schools and have experiences with a variety of learning needs. Learning with me is relaxed, humorous and discussion based. I will be your academic guide to achieve your learning goals!

Education

Science has always been fascinating to me during school, particularly biology, chemistry and psychology. I have completed 2 degrees from University of Alberta- B.Sc in Psychology Major, Biological Sciences minor, and a B.Ed in Education after Degree.

Expérience / Qualifications

I have taught for 4 years in Canada and 1 year in England, both as an elementary and secondary teacher. I have worked as a private tutor as well in Canada. I obtained my teaching certificate from Alberta and QTS from England.
