I am a graduate of the highest music schools and universities in Switzerland (HEMU Lausanne, HEM Geneva) and in Canada (McGill Schulich School of Music, Montreal).
I give my lessons at home / online but I also travel if necessary.
I teach cello technique using various teaching methods with great classics such as Navarra, Lee, Feuillard, Dotzauer, Popper, Starker and many more...
I teach for all levels: beginners - adults - intermediate, advanced and professional and in various styles of music: classical, jazz and world music, (Eastern Europe, Balkans, Near and Middle East, Asia Minor, North Africa and Brazil).

I work a lot on posture in my teaching, because it is an element that I believe is essential in teaching a musical instrument and which is unfortunately not taken seriously or considered enough. I had the chance to work with Mrs. Aude Hauser who is a recognized physiotherapist in Switzerland and Europe specialized in musicians.

I am a certified teacher from the Conservatories and Higher Music Schools of Switzerland, but also from the Association of Graduate Music Teachers of Quebec (APMQ), as well as universities in Canada.
Instrument-wise, I also have a small cello collection, to be discussed.
I also teach on weekends, depending on my availability.

Graduate of the DESS in film music from UQAM, I also completed a license (bac) in music and musicology at the University of Burgundy (France).

I teach music theory for all levels; whether from the explanation of what a scale is to writing techniques and classical or jazz harmony.

These courses will allow you to better understand, among other things, which chords flow together well and why, and will help you in your compositions and arrangements, or even allow you to broaden your language during improvisations.

My courses are generally composed of a theoretical part, an application and an analysis.

A master's student at Concordia University and a cellist at the Orchestre Symphonique de l'Isle, I offer cello lessons for beginners and intermediate musicians. Having studied music at the Massenet Conservatory in Saint-Étienne (France) and through the Electroacoustics minor at Concordia, I have 18 years of experience with the instrument and 10 years of orchestral practice. Former student at the Conservatory of Versailles in France in the class of Saskia Lethiec, I had the opportunity to be part of many student and amateur orchestras in Violin I:
- Orchestra of the Sorbonne in Paris
- Orchestra of the Universities of Paris
- Orchestra of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark
- Sinfonia Ensemble of Montreal

Passionate about orchestra and the teaching of my instrument, all along my musical journey I had the opportunity to transmit my knowledge in violin and music theory especially to the youngest (10-15 years old).

My method:

As for young students, for me learning the violin must be a discovery in every class. The child must be amazed by the beauty of the music each time he vibrates his instrument. This curiosity must be enriched day by day during his daily work and I want my classes to allow them to learn the instrument in the joy of discovering their own sensations!

As for adults, I want to provide them with the means to progress independently from day to day, always becoming aware of their body. It is important for me that the adult can develop his inner listening to help him progress on the quality of his accuracy and phrasing.

I have been teaching cello and theory for over 15 years, all ages (from 5 years old to adults) and all levels (beginner to advanced).
