Hi! My name is Ivan and I will be your guide on the way of learning drums. I've been playing drums for 11 years, mastered drums in different music genres: Jazz, RnB, Latin, Soul, Hip-hop, Rock, Progressive Metal, Indie, Math-rock. I have a recording studio so all our lessons will be held with good sound. And If you wanted to learn how to record drums - I can teach it as well.

 I've been teaching for more than 6 years, has helped many students improve their playing skills and motivated them along the way. I know how important it is to keep loving what you're doing and getting better with the instrument, my methods of teaching are based on the mix of getting inspired, being focused and disciplined, learning new interesting for a student things and constantly getting better on the instrument. What can be better than seeing the great results of your studies!

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (…). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (…). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. I have a master degree in music composition at the Royal Conservatoire Den Haag. I have been working in music composition for 10 year. This is a class where you are going to learn how to work with your own composition ideas as well get acquaintance to new composition tools and approach. This is open for different types of music approach: - contemporary classical music - electronic music production/Ableton (any style you want) - Music for Cinema (theory and how to do mockups with samples) -Generative Music (Using max/msp and reaktor)

Each session will be structured around a combination of essential techniques, music theory, and, of course, actual playtime. We will start with mastering the basic cello postures, proper finger positioning, and bowing techniques, ensuring that students build a strong foundation. As we progress, we will delve into complex aspects like vibrato, scales, and sight-reading. In my class, expect a nurturing and supportive environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning. I am dedicated to making the cello an extension of the student's own voice, and I look forward to embarking on this musical journey together.

We will work together to design the course that is perfect for you. ABOUT ME I am an experienced music educator and have taught hundreds of lessons ranging from beginners to the graduate level. I structure my lessons around students' goals while encouraging them to keep open minds (and ears). I am a graduate of Yale University, the École Normale de Musique de Paris, the Fontainebleau Conservatory, and the Royal Carillon School of Belgium. I currently make music in Paris, where I am a 2023/24 lauréat of the Cité internationale des arts and a Mortimer Hays Traveling Fellow from Brandeis University. I was the 2021-2022 recipient of a Fulbright-Harriet Hale Woolley Award at the United States Foundation in France, and received the 2022 Rosalind Swenson Fulbright Enrichment Award. I am also a Fellow of the Belgian-American Educational Foundation. My most recent musicological article, "Overtones, Sonic and Politic: Octatonicism, Minor Thirds, and Bells," was published in Volume 71 of the scholarly journal of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America in April 2022. Although I studied classical composition in school, I write music in many genres including classical, rock, jazz, pop, and film scores. I played the guitar and the drums in several rock and folk bands in high school. My favorite band is the Beatles. Outside of music, I enjoy making watercolor paintings of trees.

You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with good singing technique you can handle many styles! Hello! Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory… or all the above listed! Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but in 2023 I feel like it’s a pity that these subject still are looked at with such a fear. I want to prove to you that building these basic knowledge can be easy, accessible and not heavy at all! My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, wether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, getting better at pitch matching… we will discuss together. I have many books and material, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you will want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain, is for the time of the class.

Having 3 years of experience in producing music. Basics of Music Production provides the basics of Cubase and how to start creating music. We'll start with how to create simple MIDI tracks for drums, synthesised sounds, and many different instruments; to producing your own track in the comfort of your own home. Along the way, we will learn the details of EQ, effect modules such as reverb, distortion, delay, and compression. There are many more plugins that will be taught during classes to help you start making music.
