Over the past fews years, I have been voluntarily correcting, editing and helping students with writing their papers.
My goal is to guide you through the different steps of writing a paper, from the gathering of information to their analysis, the creation of a plan and the final point of writing the conclusion.

J'aime également la littérature et il m'arrive souvent d'écrire. J'apprécie également la musique classique et l'art.
Outre les études j'ai aussi pratiqué pendant un temps l'équitation avant de me replier vers la natation dont les horaires plus flexibles convenaient mieux à mon emploie du temps d'étudiante.

Je n'ai pas de diplôme particulier mais j'ai déjà donné des cours particulier dans le cadre d'une association et j'ai l'habitude des enfants. J'ai également donné des cours benévolement et corrigé des exercices au collège et au lycée.
Depuis 2017 j'enseigne le français en tant que langue étrangère et je corrige volontairement les articles avant soumission.

There are plenty of tips and tricks out there, and I am here to help you not only learn about them but to put them to good practice. Be it referencing or expanding your vocabulary or improving the structures of your papers: it can all be learned!
This class is preferably for a single student, however groups may apply as well. I intend to create a productive learning environment, whereby you as the student will be practicing a lot so that your progress is permanent and you can easily apply your new knowledge in class. You will also learn more about common mistakes you may be making and how you can easily avoid making them in the future. If this sounds like a promising deal to you, don't hesitate to reach out!

English academic writing follows a number of specific rules. I teach the main structure that students should follow to succeed in writing essays and dissertations. Additionally, citation rules and practical skills will be discussed. I am also happy to assist with resume and cover letter writing in English.
Moreover, I also offer copy editing of your assignments and help with related queries for an additional fee (depending on the length of the assignment).

On my qualifications:
I completed my Ph.D. in Political Science in 2019. Throughout my studies, I completed additional classes in Academic Writing and Copy Editing. I founded an association that taught Academic Writing classes to graduate students. Since 2012, I have edited numerous papers and dissertations of other students. I work as a researcher and lecturer at a university and as a fact-checker at a think tank. In terms of languages, my mother tongue is German, I completed all my studies in English (and lived in the US and the UK for a number of years) and work in French. I also speak some Swedish and Spanish if that helps you!
