I have experience as a teacher in music school of arts in Prague, teaching children piano and singing. I am very passionate to share my knowledge and skills. Are you a beginner or have you been playing the violin for some time and you would like to improve your skills? I would love to share my violin knowledge with you and help you improve technically and musically. I offer private lessons for all ages and levels. I started teaching during my studies and I have experience teaching both children and adults for 2 years so far. I have been playing the violin for almost 20 years and this year I got my master's degree in violin teaching at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia. During my studies I did two Erasmus exchanges (CNSMD Lyon, Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest), as well as played in many chamber groups and orchestras at home and abroad. Besides, I am a very active member of our hometown music society, where we encourage and teach young musicians and those who have already finished their studies but want to continue playing their instrument as amateurs. I offer violin lessons for total beginners, beginners with couple months/years of playing and intermediate students.  I can also teach students who want to become a serious musicians or want to continue their path on conservatories, but only as an additional teacher. On lessons, students can play program chosen by their primary teacher or program, which is decided by me, based on their skills and wishes. We will work on classical pieces as well as some chamber music pieces, scales, technique exercises and themed pieces for holiday seasons. I try to put myself in the student's shoes and thus help him more easily. Every student is different, so I don't just force a certain way of teaching, I adapt according to wishes, personality, abilities and age. I believe in the power of good technique, so my students play scales, finger exercises and etudes. Depending on their level of playing, I choose a suitable program, which we prepare according to the student's best abilities. Despite all the things that are required of me, I expect work from my students and, above all,  joy in learning such a beautiful thing as music.

About the Lesson: Are you a music enthusiast that wants to start learning how to play? Are you an already good player but you want to further develop your skills? In these lessons, we will create a curriculum together, based on your wishes, needs and musical taste. Our goal is for you to be able to express yourself through your instrument. I will guide and help you to achieve this goal by providing the following classes: - Contrabass (Jazz and Classical and any other style) - Bass Guitar (Any modern style) - Music Theory - Solfeggio/ Ear training - Jazz Harmony All these classes can be taught seperately. Nevertheless, during our instrumental lesson we will cover a portion of the material of all the modules.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.
