I help people from primary to gymnasium improve their proficiency level in french at writting and speaking. And because i have a background in Engeneering studies i can also help in Mathematics and physics. Same goes with adults willing to learn french and for those who needsto start with the basics in English

Currently in my second year of a Bachelor in Bioengineering at EPFL, I offer tutoring from middle school to highschool level in maths, biology and chemistry. I also offer help to prepare for tests and exams. I practice these classes daily and I always had excellent grades in them. I am also used to helping struggling students. I mainly work with problem solving to understand where the difficulties come from and work on them with the student. It allows the student to develop an excellent understanding of the theory, as well as a nice inventory of classic problems, often asked during tests.

I am responsible in 2018/2019 for the third year course "Sobolev spaces and elliptic partial differential equations". As a young person, I am aware of the difficulties encountered by students (concerning programs but also stress, and the difficulty of passing an exam). I also see students during exercise sessions as well as individually in my office for questions about the course etc. -I am aware of the requirements of the program, which is expected in these streams since I am responsible for the worksheets and exam correction. I took part in the writing of the exams for students studying engineering and mathematics and decided the scale. (followed by a consultation with teachers and other assistants for the courses with a large number of students, eg 180 for mechanical engineers). I give lessons in mathematics, physics and civil engineering either in a public place, at the student's home or by webcam. The aim of the course is to understand the material and not to learn it by heart, in order to be able to solve all types of exercises without being destabilized when there is a small modification. I can teach the three disciplines that I master: the subjects of the BAC ES, international relations and theology. J'introduis des questions de type examen afin de rendre ses connaissances du sujet applicables à l'examen qu'il doit passer. Comprendre les questions susceptibles d'être posées lors de l'examen permet de le rendre moins stressant et de consacrer plus de temps à la vérification des réponses. Je privilégie également la connaissance et la compréhension plutôt que la mémorisation par-coeur. Même si la mémorisation par-coeur peut être utile pour certains examens, elle n'est d'aucune utilité pour les questions appliquées et tout ce qui peut arriver après les examens. Seule la compréhension de la tâche ou du problème permet de se souvenir des faits et de mener à une compréhension pratique du sujet. Durant mes études, on m'a appris la différence entre comprendre et apprendre et j'aimerais explorer cela avec vous aussi. Toutes mes leçons sont enregistrées et disponibles pour vous si vous voulez les utiliser et pour la possibilité de réviser. J'utilise bramble.io, une plateforme de tutorat, ainsi que Zoom et Microsoft Teams, selon vos préférences.

- Support, revision or intensive course - From the 11th Understanding and acquisition: these are the two keys to learning! I accompany the student in these two stages so that he ends up mastering the subject: this means that he develops reflexes on the basis of the knowledge that he appropriates. FOR WHOM, FOR WHAT: This course aims to provide a framework for the preparation of future students at EPFL. Many students are preparing for the start of the new school year at EPFL, but many of them are lost and don't know where to start. Some drag gaps from gymnasium/college with them, which prevent them from starting to learn/relearn math and physics and prepare well for the start of the school year.
