PhilippMathematics courses (mainly) and support
Hello! I offer math lessons for various levels. Mainly for gymnasium / college or cycle students (but also for first semester Bachelor students (for example) or medical students, etc ...). I would also be happy to prepare a course on certain subjects if the student is interested and wants to tackle new subjects or branch of mathematics as far as possible (for mathematical culture or simply out of interest)! I prioritize reasoning in teaching, I think that doing without understanding is not very productive I can also provide support in physics. I hope to meet many students in need, and look forward to it! :) “It is with logic that we prove and with intuition that we find.” - Henri Poincaré. As for me, I graduated and am a math student. I am in Lausanne, but can travel to Geneva on weekends.

ChristianePrivate math lessons in French by shared interactive whiteboard
I give remote math lessons, in French, by shared interactive board for high school and high school students. I am an architect civil engineer and I have been teaching for 8 years. The most important thing for me is to personalize the lessons, to guide the student so that he understands the subject by himself, so that he manages to organize his work, to structure his reasoning, to manage his time, to manage his stress and finally to gain confidence in him. All this is done by adapting the course to its type of learning, putting all our energy to target and overcome blockages, and finally achieve autonomy. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to write me, I will be happy to answer you as soon as possible.
JulienPrivate Lessons, Tutoring - Mathematics and Science
Dear Parents, You came here to seek help for your child and you did well. Publics schools are essential for our education, but they sometimes lacks the necessary resources to take care of each student individually. I had quite a difficult schooling myself for this very reason. My struggles were no greater than anyone else's, but the schedule was too rigid for me to thrive freely. Thanks to the support of my parents however, I was fortunate enough to benefit from the help of a private school and I was thus able to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who graduated from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and on April 11, 2019, I was defending a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). All this knowledge, however, is only useful if one knows how to communicate it properly. As you know, this is an essential aspect of teaching. There are boring teachers and there are others whose passion is contagious. I often find that teachers whose interest spreads to their students take the trouble to give context to what they are teaching. This often arouses the curiosity of the students who therefore work of their own free will. Your child's education is serious business, and you are right to seek solutions. Best regards, Julien
AliciaENGLISH LESSONS, all levels (beginner to university), 5 years teaching experience
I am a qualified teacher from England, I have a BA and MA in Linguistics (English). I am currently making research on the best methods for teaching a second language (such as English) to adults and children. I have been teaching children and adults for 5 years, from beginner to university level. The best way to improve in a new language is to be taught by a qualified English speaker. :-) I adapt my lessons to the level and needs of the student. We can work on grammar, reading, speaking and listening. I usually use the news in English to encourage the student to express themselves, correct pronunciation while reading and it is an excellent way for the student to acquire new expressions/vocabulary. I also give exercises based on grammar and make sure to apply what we have learned in real life context. If you wish, we can also work on specific topics such as business. I am also qualified for the IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or the correction of written work. I can deliver the lessons online if required. Don't hesitate to contact me for further information. I'm looking forward to meeting you. :-)

FionaEnglish course (conversation, reading, grammar) and homework help
I offer English classes, ranging from grammar to conversation and reading. Being native English speaker and student at the University of Lausanne in first year of Master, I had the opportunity to have already given English tutoring courses with AppApp for apprentices as well as courses of private English with young children (reading, vocabulary, games, grammar etc ...) I am particularly willing to help with homework / tutoring in French, history of art and religious studies.
GaspardAnalysis course for math or engineering students. (University)
I am doing a thesis at EPFL in analysis. I offer mathematics classes at home or at home, the target audience is mainly first and second year students at the university in maths or engineering. Topical Note: I have a very good camera and a large board at home, so I'm ok with zooming or skype, for example. Experience: -Many private lessons of all ages and for a long time. -Assistanat analysis I and II for the engineering section and the maths section (so I did some exercise sheets, course reminders or some points, and the work of "tutor" at the epfl, ie the help during exercise sessions). (Several years in a row). - Assistantship in more advanced courses, for example "Sobolev spaces and elliptic PDE" (Master course), functional analysis II (master course), Dynamics and bifurcation (3rd year of License) My CV: -Classe at the Mathematics Olympiad at 15 -Prepa (French system) to Louis Le Grand in Paris. -Diploma of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (License and master, maths / info) -Diploma of Oxford University (Master, Maths) -Thesis at the epfl Most: -I know very well the students of this age, the requirements as well as the program. In 2016/2017 I was assistant in charge of the engineering analysis course at EPFL, and the student analysis course in mathematics at EPFL (second semester). In 2017/2018, I was responsible for the two analysis courses (first and second semester) of students in mathematics at EPFL. I am responsible in 2018/2019 for the third year course "Sobolev spaces and elliptic partial differential equations". As a young person, I am aware of the difficulties encountered by students (concerning programs but also stress, and the difficulty of passing an exam). I also see students during exercise sessions as well as individually in my office for questions about the course etc. -I am aware of the requirements of the program, which is expected in these streams since I am responsible for the worksheets and exam correction. I took part in the writing of the exams for students studying engineering and mathematics and decided the scale. (followed by a consultation with teachers and other assistants for the courses with a large number of students, eg 180 for mechanical engineers). I would like to point out that these courses are not necessarily reserved for students in difficulty.
AhmadMathematics and Physics class / video or at home
Having a double degree in engineering and finance, and having completed a preparatory class for the grandes écoles in France, I offer mathematics and physics courses for students up to university level. I will be able to put myself in the student's shoes to support them as best as possible in the preparation of their exams and / or revisions. My goal is to familiarize the student with the basics and allow him to get ahead of the more advanced concepts.
NatachaPrivate lessons in languages and methodology of work
Passionate about languages, I am convinced that learning a foreign language, or even working more thoroughly in one's mother tongue, is a great wealth in terms of openness and self-awareness. It is also a very valuable tool for learning how to organize your thoughts and structure your ideas; what we all need in our daily lives. Holder of a Master in Sociology of Communication and Media and Journalism (University of Friborg) and a Master of Arts (University of Lausanne), I offer private courses entirely based on the needs and expectations of the person. The goal is that the use and learning of the language brings something concrete, especially in terms of work methodology. I teach French (school or foreign language) and English at all levels and to people of all ages.
