I teach electric guitar or folk (blues to metal through all genres) but also bass, dobro, banjo and ukulele. The real plus ? I like my job and I practice it full time ... Student at the HEMU of Lausanne in Jazz and holder of a Diploma of Musical Studies from the City of Paris in Jazz Drums, I give home drums lessons for all levels. The lessons are above all based on the requests and expectations of the student, according to his level and age. I had the honor of participating in important regional concerts in France and Tunisia. Learning basic techniques, music theory, improvisation and ear development are part of the training. The saxophone course is personalized depending on whether it is a beginner or an advanced student. Beginner students will learn the solid basics, such as: good posture, good breathing, producing a beautiful sound, scale exercises, reading sheet music, basic rhythmic exercises. We will perform these exercises from different scores, which I can provide if necessary, and at the same time I also try to convey my own experiences. In general, I first show the exercise on my instrument and then let the student try to play it. We often play together. For advanced students, we will learn more complex pieces, more difficult harmonic and rhythmic exercises, thus expanding the limits of the instrument. Classes also include some music theory and history of music during class. I also consider it important to show how one can work effectively alone.

Young jazz pianist, graduate of the Paris Conservatory, offers lessons in improvisation, harmony and music theory for all levels and all ages. Above all, I practice improvisation and composition as well as the interpretation of jazz, rock, soul, reggae, pop,... Hi, I'm Clément, a passionate musician and a current student at EPFL. My musical life started when I was 3 years old and since then it has continued to develop. For nearly 15 years, I was trained at the Avignon Conservatory, rubbing shoulders with several orchestras and performing numerous solo performances throughout Provence and Paris. I also hold a diploma in musical studies. My goal, through these courses, is to introduce you to the trumpet and music theory in an attractive and accessible way. Although the trumpet is a demanding instrument, it also offers an incredible escape and joy that cannot be compared with any other instrument. Depending on your needs, we could structure the courses in two main phases: - A trumpet practice session of 45 minutes to one hour - An exploration of music theory from 30 to 45 minutes These two aspects are intrinsically linked: theoretical knowledge is strongly recommended if you are a beginner, as it will help you to read notes, rhythms and other musical symbols. Je suis candidat au doctorat à l'Université de Montréal (Canada) et je poursuis, également, un deuxième Master à la HEM de Genève. Ma recherche de doctorat est à propos de la neuropsychologie de l'apprentissage de la musique et ses applications dans la performance. J'ai eu le plaisir de jouer avec des orchestres et comme soliste dans des festivals au Canada, en Allemagne, en Autriche, en Espagne et en Suisse en plus d'avoir été la lauréate de quelques concours ainsi que la récipiendaire de nombreux prix. J'ai plus que 15 ans d'experience comme interprète et pédagogue (même aux niveaux universitaire en tant q'un chargé de cours).
