I have worked in schools for 7+ years in Brazil and Portugal. Education is my passion and I enjoy teaching students from different backgrounds, ages and nationalities.

Education

I hold a Bachelors degree and a Licentiate degree in Geography from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in Rio de Janeiro. I am a licensed teacher in Brazil.

I am a French native language speaker with full proficiency in Spanish. I have extensive teaching experience over 15 years acquired in France and Italy. I have worked across the ages and ability range both primary and secondary schools, colleges and adult’s education.
My degree in Science of Education and my training as a teacher give me some expertise to cover all French National Curriculum subjects. My subject specialisms as a foreign language are Spanish and French. I have also studied Literacy, Hispano-Americans Civilisations and culture as a degree at the University.
My values and way of teaching has always been appreciated in the schools I taught, in France, Italy and eventually England. The relationship I can create with students is unique: leading by being warm and friendly. I set up a unique supportive and nurturing learning environment where lessons are tailored to meet the needs of the individual learner rather than providing education for all.

I can help you with all of these, and not only because I was born and raised in France: after getting my Master's Degree in Lingustics and Anthropology from the School for Advanced Research in Paris - at the time I was also teaching private classes of French and English to high school and university students - I moved to the UK and studied theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. There I worked on the skills any speaker needs to communicate clearly and convincingly: diction, voice projection, etc.
These two approaches - linguistics, and theatre work - give me a strong foundation from which to help any student learn French. So jump on: we'll build a learning program tailored to your needs and make sure that the lessons are both dense and fun.
