Hi! My name is Aaron and I am a graduate from the University of Edinburgh, achieving a first class masters in Medicinal Chemistry in 2018. I took the International Baccalaureate myself right here in the Netherlands, and know personally how difficult it can be. In fact my worst IB result was in chemistry, mainly due to poor teaching and a lack of effective learning resources. Precisely because I overcame this deficit to go on to excel at university level chemistry, I know I can help any student achieve their desired results.

Alongside my studies I spent over four years working as an online and in-person IB Chemistry tutor through Elite IB Tutors. I have conducted both online and face-to-face lessons, and guided many students for months. Through this work I have experience in lesson planning, tailoring content, working to learning outcomes, and have comprehensive knowledge of the current SL and HL syllabuses.

As a tutor I prioritize the relationship with the student, and understand that everyone learns most effectively in a trusting environment. I am highly flexible in my teaching methods, according to a student's individual needs and strengths. I also value transparency, and am eager to include the student and their family in any decision making regarding the lessons. From my students I expect only an eagerness to learn and a confidence in their own ability.

My name is Aaron. I am a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a passion for chemistry and teaching. I have been working as a tutor in IB Chemistry since 2016, and as an education and course manager within an IB company since 2019.

This background has given me extensive experience in the IB, though when I was a student I would not say that the IB and university chemistry came easily to me, and in fact I needed a lot of help to achieve my results. As a teacher I understand how frustrating these subjects can be, and I always approach my lessons with patience and fun. When the material is captivating and the work is rewarding, any student is capable of achieving their goals.

Actuellement étudiant à l'école des Mines à Paris, je suis issu d'une formation en classes préparatoires Mathématiques et Physique (MPSI). Je serais à la Haye cet été pendant 4 mois à partir de la mi-juin 2016.

Je vous propose des cours intensifs de préparation avant la rentrée, ou pour des étudiants en Terminale, des cours de préparation aux matières scientifiques de l'enseignement supérieur français.

J'ai déjà suivi de nombreux étudiants au lycée ou bien dans le supérieur, et tous s'en sont très bien sortis en Mathématiques/Physique/Chimie. Ma méthode repose sur une adaptation aux méthodes d'apprentissage de l'élève. Toute l'attention sera portée à la compréhension des concepts en vue d'une préparation long-terme, avec également une préparation aux examens si besoin.

I am a MSc in Civil Engineering, M.Sc in Finance and Economics, and an MBA graduate with over 14 years of experience teaching Mathematics up to the undergraduate level. Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students and have successfully helped them excel in their studies. In addition to my extensive teaching background, I have more than 7 years of experience guiding students through standardized tests such as the GRE and SAT. My goal is to help you master these tests with effective strategies and a clear understanding of the subject matter.

My Mathematics lessons are tailored for students of all levels, including:
Master and Bachelor Students (subjects like Financial Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Basics of Mathematics for data science students, etc)
