Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics B are not easy subjects in high school
Although they seem difficult, they are (if you understand the intricacies and way of thinking well) very easy to understand!
I tutor at secondary school level for biology, chemistry and mathematics B to V5.

I tutor biology for homework, tests and exams at HAVO and VWO levels
Please indicate in advance which chapters are involved, so that I can prepare and help as best as possible!

I am happy to help you with the subjects: physics, biology, history, English and mathematics B. I can also help you with homework supervision and if you have a test week with test preparation, for example.
I have already obtained my diploma and can therefore tutor the following groups:
- class 1 to 4 Havo, MAVO, BBL, KBL and below

I am currently a third year student in pre-med at Erasmus University College, and a second year in mechanical engineering at TU Delft. I am proficient in teaching in English and can explain stuff in Dutch, but at a slightly slower pace as it is my second language. I can essentially tutor all STEM subjects with a week's notice due to my coursework in almost all field but here is a list I am most comfortable with: Mathematics, Physics, Biology (not plant biology), Chemistry, Computer science (Matlab and Python), principles of engineering design (including SolidWorks) and Economics. My previous experience with teaching is both at a university level as an education and research assistant for Behavioural Economics, and as a part-time high school teacher for biology and Mathematics.
In my free time, I like to play tennis and grab a drink with my friends – I am extremely compassionate, but I value my time and hope that you can match my enthusiasm in class. I did the IB program in high school and scored a 42.

In class, we will cover all subjects related to biology and medicine that the student wants and considers important. This is of course often about the material that is tested at school, but if there is a need for my knowledge in the medical/medical field, I can also put together challenging lessons for that. For example, if there are students who feel attracted by the study of medicine, I can help them discover whether it is something for them through the lessons and help them further on their way.

Bijles voor basis- en middelbare scholieren. Ik heb het meest ervaring in het geven van bijles wiskunde en Nederlands, maar ook voor andere vakken kan je bij mij terecht.
De bijlessen worden bij voorkeur gegeven bij de leerling thuis. De leerling kan zich namelijk doorgaans beter concentreren in een vertrouwde omgeving.

Ik heb ruime ervaring met het geven van bijles en het begeleiden van leerlingen bij verschillende organisaties. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik gewerkt met leerlingen van uiteenlopende niveaus, waarbij ik heb gemerkt dat ik veel energie haal uit het uitleggen van lesstof en het vergroten van zelfvertrouwen bij leerlingen.

Mijn interesse en passie liggen vooral bij de vakken geschiedenis, aardrijkskunde en maatschappijleer/burgerschap. Ik vind het belangrijk om deze vakken niet alleen inhoudelijk duidelijk uit te leggen, maar ook te laten zien hoe ze aansluiten bij de actualiteit en de belevingswereld van leerlingen.
